On Hold 2016 Hirochi SBR4 GT300

This is a part pack for the SBR4 that aims to be as close as my skill level will permit to the real-life Super GT series.

Feedback on the model would be great

 

I think the dive planes should be wider and get to the edge of the fender, maybe more horizontal too. They look like they're tilted down.
Make the mirrors smaller and more aerodynamic, but you probably have that planned already.
Can't really comment on the model as I'm not an expert, you should wait for someone more qualified. The only thing I see is at the back of the doors, where they "turn down", there are a lot of lines and that may cause problems

What are the dive planes ? sorry, i don't have a lot of knowledge on these kid of things.
Yeah, for now the mirrors are untouched, but they will be replaced.
The doors aren't modeled yet, those are the stock doors.

 

The dive planes (or canards) are the little wings in front of the front tires

Also is it planned to have a swan neck/gt3 style spoiler for it? cause the Nomi GTX wing dosen't seem to fit well

 

Yep. I will also try to make it adjustable.

Update !
Fixed the texture issue, for now it won't support skins but it'll come.
Also implemented the new canards in-game.

 

Looks great!

 

Things planned:
- A swanneck wing, based off the GTRX and the GTC jbeam.
- Thinner, lighter mirrors.
- A lightweight interior, with a whole new dash and a whole new wheel.
- Moving the F4 into mid-rear position instead of rear.
- Lowering the wheels, so that it sits much lower to the ground but still has some suspension travel.
- Making a center exhaust
- Making center-lock wheels
- Maybe some more powerful headlights
- Make the canards, etc. actually affect the aero

The brz GT300 has the engine mounted in a mid-rear position, right ? It probably applies to gt500 as well.

It will, i hope i can still name it GT500 but if not i will come with a makeshift name

Nah, it's a series so i'll probably come up with something like they did with BRC/WRC, like Beam Touring Championship.
