WIP Beta released Garbage Upfit for T-Series V1.7 - 04/02/24

i downloadet this mod and there were no issues so it is a great mod

I honestly had the same thought. If *anyone* were to happen to make that a reality, I would give them a hearty golf clap.

 

Hey do you think you could make it so that the crusher on the back actually works and can destroy things?

 

Well, I almost don't have any experience outside of skin modding, but I tried. Resulted in it looking misplaced like this and the upfit replacing itself with a fifth wheel every time I tried to put the trash loader on the vanilla frame.

 

Update:
I also got the engine and the transmission in. I know they clip through the cab and they are in the wrong place but it's somewhat good.
If anyone wants to mess around or fix this, the file is here. I couldn't fix the issue where it doesn't appear on the normal T75 frame though. I also included a configuration in.

 

Not perfect but got the garbage upfit as close as I could. I had to make a separate frame for the cabover with the only difference being I added an offset to the upfit slot similar to how the rear bumper is set up on the D-Series

 

would it be possible to include a movenode parameter in the jbeam of the bin/bed thing so everything is moved forwards without needing to make a new frame?

 

I tried that first but it didn't work. That was likely just an error on my part, but regardless I just went the easy route and made a separate frame with an offset upfit slot. By "made a separate frame" I mean I just made a copy of the T75 cabover frame's jbeam, renamed it, and added the offset. It only took copying two files and changing some names/values to get the upfit to work

Edit: here's the file for the garbage upfit on the cabover frame for anyone that wants it. You must have both the cabover mod and garbage truck upfit mod for it to work because this is just an addon (literally just two jbeam files). There's no config so make sure you change the frame to "Gavril T75 Frame Cabover Trash Upfit"

hey i am the creator of the Cabover the reason why they clip through is because ive had to modify the engine and gearbox slightly so you will have to change the mesh

also didnt realize that the mod was still popular so i may have to update it lmao

Any plans for a way to actually load garbage in this thing. It's awesome BTW!

 

Can you add the side loader for the garbage truck and a front loader with the cabover config that @TopKick made?

 

Yeah it would be awesome to be able to load things into it and CRUSH it.

That is only based off the Supra, it doesn't use any Model from anywhere else and is scratch made, plus no real life parts
