Perhaps the next tire model update will focus on loose surfaces, possibly leaving out temperature and wear? Also, I agree about the Sunburst stuff. It would make a lot of sense for a remaster to use a boxer engine

And so... covet remaster confirmed. While I didn't expect it before the first teaser, It makes sense since 0.25 is a milestone update and the covet is one of the "mascot cars" for beam, like the pigeon and D-series. Also, milestone updates tend to add a heck ton of content. Examples: 0.20 - Roamer remaster, water physics, Industrial map, and a few new configs for other vehicles like the drag hopper 0.15 - picco and italy (thats a small amount of features, but they are big in content) 0.10 - a huge amount of quality of life enhancements, most notably the audio. 0.5 - "old" pessima, in-game repository, turbos, car tuning, and vehicle specific bindings So, yeah, milestone updates are big, and 0.25 is a big milestone: a quarters worth of updates. So, what features are you thinking? I'm thinking italy remaster since it's the only "major" map (ecusa, wcusa, jri, utah) not yet remastered
Instead of talking about the theoretical sunburst revamp, what about this rally covet? Superturbo? AWD? RR or RMR layout?
I really hope for one of the following : tire thermals, aero model improvement and ai improvements/race ai.
What about the modern super car teased a few weeks ago? It will likely follow the one remaster one new car of 0.22 (Legran, Wendover), 0.23 (Pigeon, Wigeon). It could also be like 0.24 where they had two updates in one, doing the second when the hotfix update usually does.
It seems like this Covet will receive a crazy engine plus Race AWD and I'm betting on either the 2.7 V6 with Stage 3 Twin Turbos or the 2-liter Inline-4 with Stage 2 Block and Stage 3 Turbo to be the engine of choice. We already know it's gonna be mid-engined so it makes sense putting the V6 engine back there!
What would a superturbo engine be? Anyway, I'd guess either RMR or RM4, a RR layout would make it very tricky to handle.
And also the rest of the maps getting PBR. If the current teaser trend (every other week) continues, we may potentially get an updated teaser about the new car on March 1st.
I'd always known that as a twincharged setup. That's extremely complicated though, only Lancia managed to make it work in the eighties. I'd expect either a more conventional twin turbo or a single turbo with antilag, but there's also a very slim chance of it being a larger displacement NA (3.0-3.5l, probably V6)
What I’d like to see is the (slightly unrealistic) turbo I6. Regulations of group b allowed it and it would’ve been pretty successful, but there wasn’t one in group b.
I believe the name Superturbo comes from the Nissan Micra (March) Superturbo, which was indeed twincharged
I totally Agree. being on the middle, Ibishu would have almost endless space to fit a engine there. Although maybe the 2.7 didn't exist back then, but Civetta engines did...
