    Yes the torque really is inverted, but it also runs on the outdated old version of engine simulation, and seems like it was made with some ROR to BeamNG exporter because the formatting is so bad that it would be easier to redo the whole mod from scratch than fix it.

    I have no idea how easy because I never made a plane before, but I assume that around a year or more.

    Actually this one is orginally from WOM. The thread on this website is to a "fixed" version where literally the only thing changed is addng the thumbnail in selector. It's literally stolen from WOM, if it happened nowadays then the "author" would get banned instantly. The original could as well be from 2014 or even 2013... THERE IS NO WAY TO GET SOMETHING THIS OLD TO WORK.
