So... I have some good and bad news. Good news: 1. JBeam structure for body is complete. 2. I finally find a way how to fix suspension and some frame issues (best way - remade it from scratch). 3. In theory - I can release a very early alpha version in soon time. Bad news: 1. Technically this is a meshswapped Legran Wagon with Roamer frame(temporarily), and it was planned from the beginning (structure and shape is reworked ofc). 2. Its too heavy (2.5t on this moment (IRL prototype - around 1.9t)). Good news - I plan to fix in soon future. What who think about this? PS. JBEAM, if any want take a look.
pretty nice! the weight diffrence can be compensated by making the engines a little more powerful and maybe later on you could fix those issues if you want to
LeGran is unibody, so I assume it has a lot of weight in the floor, you can try making that lighter. Looking good so far!
I am brand new to beamng and do not know how to mod or make models at all but i plan to learn. Would you be cool if I took this existing model sometime in the future and converted the back end to the 1987 version of this truck? I posted earlier in this thread about owning one. Great progress btw!
Cool Cool, I probably won't get around to it until this summer due to college work and having to learn these things but thanks for being so open! If you get around to it before I do feel free to ask for reference photos, mine has some beat up bumpers and I dont think the rims are stock but everything else should be including the engine which is the 2.4l 4 cylinder that they put in the American models, and a lot of the parts inside and out are the same as the version you are doing.
I loved it, the screen showing if it is in low and the turbo And will the lights turn on like the 4X4 light or its that is texture and don't turn on?
