WIP Beta released Machine's Wheel Pack 1.1

Bumping this on purpose because I can.

Also Machine gave me permission considering that I fixed the Alder KingSnake wheels. But here's a quick fix for now until he gets around to fixing it fully, I don't know about certain wheels falling off, as I don't have that issue. Just delete the old "materials.cs" under the KingSnake folder in the mod, drop this one in, and you should be good to go.

 

So good news, this pack is finally getting updated...
...after nearly 5 years since the release and not a single update since then. About time, right?

I am going to refresh every wheel design in the pack with new materials and 3d model edits to bring them up to modern quality standards, so there is a lot of work ahead. But I am going to update the pack in multiple parts so you don't have to wait ages to get your hands on the updated wheels. I will also add some new wheels along the way.

So far I am nearly finished with a new "oem" wheel, the ETK BC18. The model was made around 5 years ago and it was going to be in a separate pack but was never released. Gave up on the idea of an oem wheelpack so here it is, almost completely remade as well. Available in stock 15" size and 17" 3-piece conversion.



First wheel already included in the pack to get refreshed is the BPS Mesh, which seriously needed the treatment. The textures are completely redone with normal maps this time, dimensions tweaked to be closer to a real BBS RS, added different barrel options, and the waffle plate is now removable and also replaceable with the turbofan. The wheels, center caps and turbofans will receive new color options. The refreshed wheels now have a similar part tree as @D-Troxx 's wheels. This will reduce a lot of clutter from the wheel selector, especially when there is quite a lot of more variation available.



A HUGE thanks to @D-Troxx for the provided help and motivation with the rework process. I don't have an ETA for the first update as neither of the introduced wheels are ready, but it should be here within the next 5 years.

BPS mesh 17x10 with stretched tires are bugged half a tire is of the wheel

So what? He's just reporting a bug.

Had a look at it. The stretched tires are not part of the game itself, nor this mods so I can't really do anything about that. This bug seems to happen on all 17x10 wheels that use vanilla tires. I think the tires might be part of D-Troxx's wheel pack, so you might have to report the bug to him instead.

 

I know this thread is old and I know this is a dumb question, is there a way to change the colour of the turbofan? I noticed in some screen shots that they were different colours and was wondering if they could be changed, I tried messing with the secondary colours and it didn't change. It's been bugging me, and that I'm too stupid to figure it out. Please help.
