Spawn sphere not working, trying to make a map

Trying to make a map, but like the previous attempts, it's broken, and frankly pissing me off, I'm actually starting to lose hope for this game. I've had three or four maps I've tired to make get borked because of unresolvable issues.

So instead of the vehicle spawning at the spawn sphere, it spawns at an entity called defaultplayerspawnsphere, an undeletable, unmovable entity with a counterpart defaultcameraspawnsphere.

Consequently it's spawning the vehicle under water, under the land mass, on the damn ground plane. How do I fix this? I have validated steam files, but it doesn't seem to help. If issues like this persist, I'm going to forfeit attempting this game until it's well past it's buggy stage, I'd really like to make a few maps, I have a few ideas, even if they don't take off, I'd like to do it, but I can't because of nonsense like this.

Is there any fix for this issue?

 

Have you physically tried to select and move the spawn sphere in the editor and then save the level?. I had success doing that.

 

Try opening the .mis file in a text editor and see if the spawn spheres are defined in a different way compared to some other working map.

Sometimes a map spawns you messed up and you may need to unfreeze physics to fully spawn in. [Press J]

Just try that at least.
