Hello my friends! (maybe) As you know for now, this thread is a bit abandoned for some days, there's some reasons for that 1. I have a school, which slow downs the modding proccess a bit (but not critical). 2. Have some other things that i'm doing on background, mostly the game dev. 3. Just searching for the ideas. But what about the things i'm making on Autron, and what's the future plans to make for now? - -First, i'm making the data base (in MS Access) for the advanced configuration info (it's very short, and includes only the transmission, and fuel). - -Second, i'm planning to start making SM Configs (SM stands for Standard Model), with some small things that are gonna to be there, SM will not get CVT Transmission configs, Van Unibody configs, and other small things, because of this, it will be made very quickly. - -Third, planning to make the Indian Spec version of the car with the name "Autron Inde" (Inde means India in French, very simple), it is a very cheap version of the pre-facelift Petitron, but everything has been removed, such as the center vents, the box with radio and climate controls, no tacho gauge cluster, and even smaller bumpers. - -And fourth, more separations, even though it has dashboard and engine bay separated, it's still has things that aren't separated, such as wipers on windshield, rear view mirror, and the CHMSL (Center high mounted stop light). But it's fine to see the mod having the spider houses on it due of it's inactivity, i'm just doing other stuff on a background. Anyway, have a really nice day people! Edit 1: i decided to add the SM Diesel configs because i forgot that i added 1.4L Diesel to it. Edit 2: SM Diesel configs will include the van unibody config, but not the petrol. Edit 3: When i said "Pre-facelift Petitron", i did mentioned with that there's a facelift planned to make, the Facelift version is released in 95, the same year when the Inde came out
Oh yeah, for the Indian Spec. Will it has the steering wheel at the opposite side like the car sold in Britain?
ooo india spec autron. nice. things to note in the tiny car segment here, engines are 800cc-1.0l (usually 3 bangers) (if your doing them) Air conditioning definitely. (unless base base base trim) plastic door handles, mirror caps etc, wind down windows (not electric). and kph gauges could go deeper with this, but wont.
I know that it may be too late, but i'd suggest you to name the trim levels with french words, like Renault, Peugeot and Citroën do nowadays (at least here in Latin america). For example, Renault used to name their version as Authentique, Expression, Dynamique and Privilège. Peugeot used the names Allure, Feline and Griffe. Citroën used Origine, Tendance and Exclusive. Maybe you can use words that fit the trim level (I don't speak french, so I can't give examples)
Well, in a while ago i did made a rally config for it, but it was only for fun, but i'll do it again after i finish making factory configs --- Post updated --- There's many gauges options to choose, and metric gauges (KMH gauges) are included already, the plastic door handles and other things are already plastic, and side door windowses are manual already. But the engine is not in a car, i will maybe make it later
There's many gauges options to choose, and metric gauges (KMH gauges) are included already, the plastic door handles and other things are already plastic, and side door windowses are manual already the US version is already made (and mentioned on the first page), but not sure about the police version, due of the skin UV being very weird looking (not a big surprice why that happens, cuz it has covet's skin UV instead of it's own one) still, i'll try to find someone who will help me to change the skin uvs on all 3 unibodies and made a template
Yes, the high end trim naming is LXM, and it should to have high end stuff, like the white colored signal lights (suggested by someone), a clock inside, luxury wheels, DOHC 1.5 engine, and more
