Chrome instead of skin

Hi, I'm trying to make a skin for FPS Trapez, however when i put my skin into the game it doesnt show up properly but as a chrome paint. How do i fix this?

 

Now the chrome disappeared but the skin still doesnt work

 

firstly, the materials file should be named skin.material.json, you are missing one dot there. secondly, the materials file is missing a curly bracket at the end.

 

The dot missing is only on the forum i dont know why, on my computer it shows up with the dot
