That's amazing XD. I'm surprised the camper survived the trip. --- Post updated --- Update to leaderboard spreadsheet: I separated the vanilla and modded runs into separate sheets. I've also included a combined vanilla/modded sheet.
I always wondered if an old hot hatch could beat an older muscle(pony)car and this thread gave me a good reason to find out. Gavril Barstow Kingsnake - Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune Time: 9:18.196 Ibishu Covet 2.0 GTz Special Edition - Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune Time: 9:21.530 So, when a terrible driver drives both cars with an XBox One controller the results are basically equal. However, it took me just over an hour to get a decent lap time in the Covet, but over 3 hours in the Barstow...(and I thought the camper was difficult to get a lap time with...)
I see your caravan lap and I put my entry to the weird mix. Hot lap attempt in a beefed up MAN TGS with trailer, almost fell over twice and by the end, the brakes were cooked and a taillight was broken Also had a go at trying to see how close a time i could get to everyone's vanilla SBR/Bolide with a modified heavy duty D-Series, it really needs a splitter
always wanted to see the TGS around there, wouldve done it myself if it wasnt for my terrible hardware lol
When its stock, its a very nice Sunday drive around the track like a tourist open day, but that would take quite a long time. I might take it back around but without the trailer and see if i can get below 8 minutes just for fun
I'm surprised they're so close. I must see what times I can get with a steering wheel. Driving with a controller seems difficult, especially without assist. --- Post updated --- Nice laps. Was that D-series run with vanilla parts only?
The brave driver Erik T.B is attempting fastest lap-time on the famous Nurburgring! Taken during the run Commentary: AbdullahBemath27 SKB A: What do you think his lap time will be? S: Well, i dunno, anyways, *Starts cooking an egg on his super hot computer* A: Oh no! His car is on fire! S: Huh? Where? A: The onboard cam should come up soon.. S: That's fine- S: I take that back. A: Another failed run. Rescuers are trying to get him out of the car. (...) So yeah. I tried, catched fire and my front wheels disintegrated from the fire, leading to no other choice but abandoning. (Sorry if this was offinsive in any way, this was meant as a fun joke, and maybe a start of commentary?)
I thought his car did actually catch fire in Beam, and he made the story around that. I guess lack of sleep is finally catching up
It actually caught fire due to the front wheels, but i had to sprinkle it with some S P I C E . I didnt know my car was that fragile tho. --- Post updated --- nah, as my post above says, it did happen. i just overdetailed it i guess you could say.
I decided to see the difference between a new hot hatch vs new muscle car since the old ones were suprisingly close. Cherrier Vivace S 410Q Arsenic Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune - ESC set to "Arsenic" - Transmission in "Sport" Time: 8:12.464 Bruckell Bastion Redtail Vanilla - Stock config - Default tune - ESC set to "Savage" - Transmission in "Sport" Time: 8:23.797 Spoiler: Bastions run from Orbit camera view Surprisingly enough the results are still very similar when I drive both with an Xbox One controller. I was sure the Bastion would win since it actually can turn into a corner and has way more power than the Vivace, also I did run the Vivace first and spent more than twice as long getting the Bastion around the lap.
7:10.584 - Using a custom config "first gen" Pessima with roughly 580hp, AWD, Seq. Transmission and a basic road-tune Run is scuffed, but I cant be asked to do 50 runs to go 1 seconds faster
I think this car could get a sub 6:30 time if someone with more skill used it. It is the track toy version of the bolide from the Bolide Expansion Pack mod
A bit of a sloppy run but I increased the turbo pressure to where the car is making around 1600 hp. My run was kinda sloppy. For some reason it isn't loading in my replay file. I also kind of want to see what time someone with more skill than me could get with the car. (My time is the top time on my best times chart.)
Not a single ETK in that list? I have to change that! 7:15.113 ETK K-Series Trackday - Vanilla - Stock Config
Hirochi eCCF e-Hillclimb 7:42:851 I find this car pretty difficult to drive because of the short wheelbase, and electric cars can be a little difficult to put your power down with when all you have is a key that goes to either 100% or nothing. Especially RWD. I tuned a bit of understeer into it, added ABS, and drove very carefully, so it's not the fastest time. You could probably get at least a sub 7:20 with some practice and a better setup.
