Maybe a smaller 4 cylinders for the newer variants is possible, even if I don't think that it's really necessary...

The only real lack is a sporty V8 in my opinion

I know it makes sense but I've seen a guy running 15 cars at ultra settings @120fps using Vulcan and he had barely 60fps with 9 cars at low settings on DirectX

Don't think so. The real-life equivalent, the 3-Series F30, had a 1.5l, 136hp Inline-3 as its base engine option and, before the facelift, it had a 1.6l Inline-4 with the same HP.
Hell, someone in here posted something about the FCVs having the same dimensions as the 800-Series and the FCVs have a 1.2l, 110hp Inline-3 as their base option!
    --- Post updated ---
ETK already has a 2.0l Inline-4 and it's perfectly adequate (well, apart from its sound, which must be changed because it's not fitting at all). I'm thinking of an 1.5 Inline-3 because we haven't had such an engine in the game up until now (plus there could also be a Diesel 1.5 Inline-3, for fully complementing the Inline engine options list, as there are already both gas and diesel versions for the Inline-4 and the Inline-6 blocks) and it would make the 800-Series a bit more affordable for countries with illogical taxing (for example applying a luxury tax on any car displacing over 2-liters).
Plus, along with a 4-liter V8, it would complement the 'Lego' principle of the modern ETK engines (half a liter of displacement per cylinder) in a very nice way. Come to think of it: we already have Cherrier making a 1.6l Inline-4 and a 1.5l Inline-4 Diesel! ;-)

As for the older ETKs, yeah, the 'Lego' principle doesn't apply on those. But the new ones already have the base for it!

An expansion in body style variety would be very nice. Mid-70s Sedan, Wagon and Convertible/T-Tops are missing from BeamNG.
The Moonhawk's textures are certainly gonna be remastered, so I only hope the Devs correct the chrome bumpers and the chrome decorations (side Stripping and marker light/headlight casing) turning body coloured when the 'Sport', 'Special' and "'Sport' and 'Special'" liveries are selected. I mean, body coloured bumpers look cool on the Moonhawk, they make the shape more flowy, but it's better to have them separate from any livery.

The message says it all. Try again later when their host resets their bandwidth allowance.
(I can't believe bandwidth limits are still a thing in 2021)

I didn't even know about bandwidth limits in the first place! :p

I'll wait and see what happens though.

The engine bay of the etk800/k series (as they are both the same car) are really huge. I already managed to land a V8 and a V10 in it without any issue and there's still plenty of space remaining above and in the front of the engine, it could easily fit a V12 and a flat 6. The devs have a lot of different possibilities for the powertrain of the etk800/k

Yes, since a 3-liter Inline-6 fits in the modern ETKs with room to spare, a 6-liter V12 could very well be shoved in too. But I believe the 800-Series and the K-Series don't really need a V12 because they're not large and heavy enough to be truly benefitted. Plus the V12 would also upset the weight distribution and the overall dynamic balance of these cars. So they can get by with a 4.0l V8 too. ;)
The 6.0l V12 (along with the aforementioned 4.0l V8 and, of course, the existing 3.0l Inline-6 gas/diesel engines) could be part of an F-Segment ETK Flagship Luxury Sedan and could genuinely elevate the status of the ETK brand in the world of BeamNG. But if the V12 gets swapped in the 800 and the K, then why not?;):p

K series still has no ttsport version too, so they definitely still have plans for a bigger engine.

I don't see a V8 being put in the ETK 800, just doesn't seem like the kind of car to use one. The K-Series is much more likely to see a V8. Anything larger doesn't really make sense either but that's me.

On the older topic of what could be next on refreshing other than the ETKs, I think the Covet is the next car being refreshed, since it's pretty much the oldest car that wasn't given a major remaster. Moonhawk to follow suit, Grand Marshal phase 2, both ETKs, and maybe Sunburst afterwards. I can see both the ETKs being done at once.

The 200BX is really outdated, it shows it's age as clear as day, and with the inspiration the devs had on the 2nd Gen Pessima, it could become a tuner's dream car if the remaster would bring more content to it, so I think it might be the next target of the remaster. Probably next would be the Moonhawk, then the Covet, and then the other ontes you listed.

I think there's a chance the moonhawk remaster is somewhere next on the list, it would make sense to tie up the whole bruckell lineup and connect the trim level variance with the bastion.
I get a feeling that the 200BX and covet are going to be done in close succession, as we've already got some engine customisation parts for them, and the 80s/90s Ibishu assets have been started with the gen 5 pessima.
The gen 3 pessima is probably high enough quality to warrant being held off for now, i'd say the only reason the legran's remaster was fast-tracked was for the release of the Wendover.

the last few with comparable deficiencies are probably the T-series and sunburst, neither of which really share anything with any other existing vehicle.

You are so kind, thank you very much! ;)
The sounds are lovely! The V6 indeed sounds like the Dino Stratos V6 and the V8 has the crunchy idle telling us it's a highly tuned unit! And the revving-out of the V8 is also really nice, having some Cleveland 351 notes!
I hope the existing American V8 sound doesn't get phased out though because it fits the 80s/90s/00s 4.5 and 5.5 SOHC V8 engines very well. The V8 sound heard here is more fitting to the classic 291/353/378/423 V8s and also to the modern 6.9 version of the 423!

Are these sounds gonna be included sometime? Because that's what I get by reading the comments referring to the new sounds set.
