I don’t have a release date… it’s getting closer… whatever it is… but I can’t just pin down a date yet. Besides it probably won’t be announced… it will probably just show up in like a Tuesday or something just because. Anyways… Updates… let’s see here… Last y’all had heard, we decided to split up the B1 into 3 different updates. Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3. Sithhy and I have roughed out a list of what parts will be in each update. Ironically the large majority of the parts are still in Stage 1 due to the fact that… well… cars have a lot of parts… Shocker I know. Never the less, I have been organizing the files so that I can focus on the right ones. Almost done on that front… still have some organizing to do but almost there. While doing that I have been going though and upgrading all the files. Some of the stuff has been unchanged for the better part of 3 years. Time to fix that. Plus I have learned so much in that time. Still am of course, but It’s time for an upgrade. I have been going through and upgrading all the files to modern architecture as displayed by all the remasters. Tuning deformation, tuning suspension, tuning fit and finish… the whole 9 yards. In the past week alone I have upgraded: The frame The body tub The files for both B and C pillars All the body configuration files The windows The doors Many of the engines The windows for all configurations The windshield in its entirety The mirrors and more to come… Everything now bends rather than being fully unfazed, stuff breaks Rather than bouncing back like jelly, parts separate as one would expect in a crash and boy are there quite a few. Impacts are starting to look like small explosions with all the shrapnel of loose parts flying every direction. Now... these are BIG impacts, but still. So... progress is being made. I am working really hard on getting this thing progressed and things are starting to shape up nicely. Also, no, the update didn't break anything... just as I thought it wouldn't.
the way you say that it looks like an explosion makes my laptop cry (yes it runs beamNG... with a bit of lag)
Don't worry to much... if your laptop can handle any of the reworked cars, you should be able to handle this just fine.
The real Physics Benchmarks on Beamng is still the CrashHard's 8x8 trucks (or the oldsih car from same author for smaller configs^^)
Gavril vertex even in Deo Volente is good work --- Post updated --- Yeah my PC is suffering when I crashed into stack of cars lol
This is really cool. Happy new year. It would be cool if you could add some OEM hubcaps that are similar to the ones found on the 90's AM General Hummers. Of course, something like this would be of low priority and they may look ugly but it would be cool to have some available.
It's file size in the image isn't even 1MB so I doubt its the Brutus since that package is way bigger.
