not related but I can't send images on the conversation.

The trailing link front suspension is mounted too low on the body.

    screenshot_2021-12-19_23-48-59.png screenshot_2021-12-19_23-49-35.png

Because of that, the arms are tilted wrongly, compared with the Piccolina

    screenshot_2021-12-19_23-48-25.png

If you look the piccolina, the lower tube is "tucked" on the body, not being the lowest part of the floor

TAN made the center organizer for the car

This must be all of the colors. Except for the ones that were only present for a year or two and don't have good samples to find.
    sadfdasd.png
    This includes:
    • 1 color that was renamed and changed slightly 2 times but looked similar every time, and was present on all the versions except Happy End and special ones
    • 1 color that was only on 600 version and then got removed idk why
    • 4 Polish colors that were on 600 and got carried over to 650
    • 4 Italian colors that were on 600 and got carried over to 650, one of which became a surcharged color
    • 7 Polish colors added in 650 version
    • 10 Italian colors added in 650 version, 3 of which were surcharged
    • 4 special edition colors
    • 5 FL colors, 2 of which were also used on BIS (hatchback version), and 1 of them returned in Happy End version
    • 5 new FL colors that replaced old ones when Fiat bought FSM, 1 of which was also used on BIS and Cabrio versions
    • 4 EL colors
    • 7 ELX colors
    • 1 color specific to Happy End edition
    • 1 color specific to BIS version
    • 12 custom colors from the old version of the mod
I found the missing ones thanks to a manual of 650 version and some random post on some forum by some nerd who attempted to list all of the Polish and Italian colors lol.
And yes, at one point there were really 30 colors in total to choose (I have that manual where they are all listed to prove), and at another point for convertible or Happy End version only 2. It's super weird.
And yes when Fiat bought FSM they really liked completely changing the color palette on every possible occasion for some reason, they didn't reuse almost any of the old colors.
And also yes all the white ones at the bottom are different. One of them is actually chrome, another one from old version of the mod, and another one is the white from vanilla cars. 3 other ones are real and you can tell the difference between them somehow.

It will take some time until next progress, I have to update my other mods first. Probably demo won't be coming this year, too much to fix.
But I made a quick addition: Police interior accessories swapped from Bolide, available for ST and FL interior (EL technically too but it never had a police version irl). I also added a radar from Bastion even though it makes no sense lol

Ayo, just a dumb little question. Will the ST instrument panel design get re-made in the future? Real ones had a more rounded speedometer needle and the speed readouts were bigger and at an angle, aligned with the scaling. (Also there were variants with either 130kph or 140kph scale, though I don't think that's really necessary.)

If you can find a good texture, I can replace it. But nobody found a usable one so far

Cool, then try to take a photo that can be used as a texture as it is. Without any weird lighting or the needle being in the way if possible.

Progress (no pics): Currently the mod is undergoing suspension revamp, geometry has been made way closer to irl, but rear needs better settings for toe and camber, and front has to be partially redone which will also hopefully fix the FFB issues.

A little update from the progress of the mod of my side of things:
Me and Agent decided to clean up all the models that are in the mod rn to make tuning parts easier.
some things and shapes will change, some will be more correct to the irl car and some will be just deleted.
I will try to make every one of the maluch generations to fit its rl counterpart.
if i will have time i will post progress about that cleaning stuff here.

Clarification to the above: Missing interior parts and extra custom parts cannot be made easily due to the exterior being such a mess that is hard to work with. If I get only the textures from TAN and won't have models for them then I won't be able to finish the interior, and I can't release the demo with unfinished interior, people with attention to detail would kill me lol. There are also many things wrong with the exterior that would eventually need to get fixed anyway and this is a good excuse to do all of that at once. So the chance of releasing the demo in 2021 are even lower now, don't get your hopes up.
Good news is that I hope to get the redone suspension finished and ready for testing today, and that's way more important than the interior currently.

Yes this is exactly it, will replace the texture now, thanks!
Also: New front suspension design by TrackpadUser, way better than mine:
    unknown.png
It makes it possible to simulate natural leaf spring damping effect, and gets rid of the unrealistic downsides of the old suspension while still keeping the realistic ones but in a way less exaggerated way. Aka wheels no longer wobble finally! I still need to finetune it a lot.
I also improved rear suspension toe and camber settings, also with TrackpadUser's help. The car now spawns with already correct toe and camber, but keep in mind that the rear camber is largerly affected by suspension compression, so the weight of the car and its passengers also affects it, which means that the values you will see in wheel debug app are off, you need to drive for a bit so it evens itself out first.

I think I can make this into a good texture eventually, looks promising

Lol imagine how much work that would take, I have no idea how I would make that
But a cool thing is that now the red dots on the speedo will properly show shift points, in arcade gearbox it should shift exactly when the needle touches them. Of course only after I fix the needle.
