Update Speculation thread

I don't think so, a second remaster before the 200BX, Sunburst, Covet, Old Pessima and Moonhawk get their first one wouldn't be very fair

 

The D Series had had two remasters

 

Well it wouldn't require quite as much work as the others so it would be like how we got both an H Series and a Pessima remaster at the same time because the H Series has been remastered multiple times last year.

I do think the Covet should be next or the Moonhawk as they both need work.

The Moonhawk could do with an extremely 70's Kitch variant, with landau top and wire wheel covers.

Minor content update yes, Remaster (interior and exterior plus engine remasters) no.

 

The T-Series has a lot to exploit yet. Just saying.

 

Uh... anyone wanna clarify what the background of this shot is? I don't think we've seen this map before. Then again, I am a massive idiot, so I may very well be wrong

 

I'm surprised it wasn't the case, but I guess for the next update they'll make the Factory color swatch more realistic? For some cars (Bolide included) the factory colors are all set the same way: metallic 0%, roughness and clearcoat 100%. It makes some colors look... fluorescent or just not realistic

 

Yeah, especially in traffic. I think they should have traffic cars spawn only certain realistic colors, because seeing a matte black roamer with green fender flares and cladding is a bit odd,

 

this is my line of cars that need a remaster
from most needing to least needing and what i think should happen

1: moonhawk
needs it the most for obvious reasons, just look at the interior and engine bay
needs a longer wheelbase variant, maybe with soliad badging + rollout headlights and it also needs a way better 1976 facelift

2: covet
needs maybe a facelift variant, some more configs and a fresh new model and it'll be good

3: barstow
really needs more parts, configs and a new model

4: 200BX
again, needs more parts/configs and a new model

 

Everyone here is talking about wanting new remasters, I just want proper V8 sounds, not just 1 sound shared among 8 cars.

 

Yeah it's actually shared among 9 different cars. I hope there will be a another sound update soon.

 

a sound update would be amazing. i hate every car sound in the game. none of them are unique

 

I just want proper modding integration, it's been teased for a while on some page of the documentation but I haven't heard anything much else about it.

i think it's called SSRB, a map mod made by Nadeox. It's just a really long 6 lane expressway through the ocean with some tunnel things.

also the Bastion looks so much better in-game tbh. idk why but the dev screenshots made it look kind of strange.

 

If they remaster the Moonhawk, they can make a restomod version of it with the 6.5 engine from the Bastion. That engine is AMAZING! Great sound, powerful and it's a classic American V8.

 

It’s really amazing going from the Bolide with the 2013 interior that has grey textures and trims based on engine size to a whole range of models with different bodies and uses; good job devs
