Maybe we could get an Limited Slip Differential compatible with the electric drivetrain? Anything possible in this area would be appreciated.

I had a look at the vehicle files and LUAs myself but I am not skilled enough to truly understand.

What are the differences/challenges on Driving and Safety electronics for an electric drivetrain compared to an regular one in BeamNG? I would assume that there is so much more than just "slip" that plays a role.....like coordinating two fully independent motors and the different torque curve compared to an ICE.

Any insight you could maybe find time to offer would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess that the complexity involved is one of the reasons why EV drive modes lack an offroad mode?

No compatibility issue, just copy/paste the jbeam on ETKK's differentials "controller" section, both mechanical LSD(DSE not needed) and active diffs are compatible with the electric drivetrain.
BeamNG.drive is a vehicle simulation game, thus the vehicle systems in BeamNG close resemble their real-life counterpart. However, they have different names and different interpretation.
ABS is, well, ABS. ESC in BeamNG is OK-ish, the only significant problem is sometimes it brakes the outer front wheel when the vehicle is understeering.
TCS in BeamNG is not really the same as TCS IRL. The TCS in the older ESC logic compares diagonal wheel speed, which is weird because in diagonal roller test, 2WD is better than AWD in terms of getting unstuck, try driving the Sunburst Sport(FWD, open front diff) and Sport AWD(open front and rear diff), the former is better than the latter.
IRL, whether vehicles with 2WD as base model and AWD with higher end model or vehicles with selectable 2WD/4WD transfercase, AWD is always better in getting unstuck. Thus the old TCS logic in BeamNG does not exist IRL. EDIT: Explained here
The newer DSE with the eDiff logic remedies the diagonal roller test problem, the eDiff is always active regardless of ESC or driving mode.
IRL most vehicles have a ESC-OFF button but without TCS-OFF, in the vehicle owner's manual, switch to ESC-OFF when getting unstuck, that's because when ESC-OFF, the TCS switch to brake-only mode.
In BeamNG with DSE, the ESC is still the ESC, the TCS reduce throttle and brake the slipping wheel to regain traction, as usual, and the eDiff is active.
TCS: compare diagonal (FL to RR, FR to RL) wheelspeed, does brake and reduce gas. No longer in DSE
eDiff: compare halfaxle (FL to FR, RL to RR) wheelspeed, only does brake.
Thus, Drive mode OFF is effectively ESC-OFF IRL.

Both the DSE and eDiff are compatible with the electric drivetrain
In the Offroad mode, the center clutch is locked unless throttle is zero, but the driveshaft(and the center clutch) is absent in EV, you cannot send more torque to the rear since the rear motor in the Tograc qE is less powerful than the front motor, in the Diesel version the locking center can effectively send nearly 100% torque to the rear when both of the front wheels lose traction.
Thus the DSE in EV does not have an Offroad mode(and no center clutch locking control), but the Offroad does make the suspension softer, simply equip the ICE driving mode with Offroad mode, the center clutch logic is wasted but adaptive suspension logic works correctly(if you equip them in the suspension menu)

The mod in the attachment contains the electric version of the electronic locking(via brakes), active locking(LSD) and torque vectoring differentials, two configuration files already equipped with active diff and adaptive shocks. Check the tuning menu and jbeam file.

Looking at the wheel arches and a few other features, it seems plausible that Marcello Gandini could have designed the wide-body FCV models as well

There are also these odd seams of color that appear on the black parts of the Vivace when lit?

Sorry for reviving this thread but, with the last update I'm missing the prototype cammo parts for the Vivace. The skin is still there, but the the parts that cover taillights, rear window and so are missing.

God I feel so stupid right now. That explains why I've downgraded the game and had the same issue even in safe mode lol. I hope that mod is updated soon. I got so used to it that I thought most of that content was included in the game by the devs. Thanks!

Some things I noticed about the Cherrier FCVs:

    1 - DRLs
The Arsenic DRLs of the Vivace S Front Bumper have a small issue: when the engine gets broken, they may be turning off (along with the main DRLs of the Headlights, which is normal) but when the player turns the headlights on, the Arsenic Grille DRLs turn back on again independently of the main Headlight DRLs (which turn permanently off when the engine gets broken).
Normally, both the Headlight DRLs and the Arsenic Grille DRLs shouldn't turn on when the engine gets broken because it's the same case as if the engine turned off.
This exact thing also happens to the small triangular DRLs mounted down low on the Vivace Sport Front Bumper (equipped to the Vivace 190Sd/230S models).
Weirdly enough, it also happens to the Tograc Headlight DRLs!

I also have an idea about the DRLs of the Arsenic Grille: when the rest of the Police Lights turn on, the DRLs could also double as Flashers, flashing either blue or red/blue light!

    2 - Powertrains
    1) About the 5-cylinder Vivace S models (S 350Q and S 410Q Arsenic), I just noticed that the slight firing delay sound, which was heard during the DCT gearchanges, is no longer heard, for whatever reason.
Weirdly enough, this sound can still be heard in the DCT-equipped 2.0l 4-cylinder Vivace S models (S 270 and S 310 Arsenic), albeit significantly reduced in volume.
In this video, check out the scenes with the Vivace S 410Q Arsenic. This is on version 0.21, as you'll hear, up until 0.22 we could still hear this sound loud and clear but now, on 0.23, it's gone! Why?

Also, the epically loud backfires during gearchanges on the extremely tuned Inline-5 of the Vivace Hillclimb are gone too! Here's how it sounded up until the 0.21...

...and here's how it sounds after 0.22 (this video is from April 2020, when the version was the 0.19, but notice the backfires during the gearchanges - they sound exactly like this today)! Why is that?

    2) While I'm on the subject of the DCT firing delay/backfire and although this is about a year old, I'd like this loud sound effect to return in the 230S model. It was fun hearing this loud backfire effect during stationary revving, changing gears and letting off the gas to decelerate and it also distinguished the sporty 230S model from the more normal "160" version of the same 1.6 Inline-4 engine.
    (@7:37 - 7:53)

    3) Have you thought of adding a Race 7-Speed DCT (just like that of the Hirochi SBR4 Hillclimb) to the Vivace Race and Hillclimb versions? Usually, Cup Racers, like the Vivace Race, are also available with the factory automatic (race-tuned of course). Think of the Leon Eurocup, the TCR International and the VLN race series!
The video is in Greek, so turn the subtitles on.
Also, the Vivace Hillclimb is truly capable of speeds well past 300km/h, so the 7-speed DCT could really help the 5-cylinder!

    4) The new variable differentials (Torque Vectoring, Electronically Locking and Sport diffs) can do wonders to the FCVs!

    5) I really like the fact that the FCV DCTs now have a slight "Torque Converter" effect in "R" and "D"! Please keep it this way, it's very nice! ;)

Okay... y'all are going to hate this but please hear me out.

I very much understand that Cherrier is a French car company. However sometimes when I look at the modern styling on the cars I can't help but think of Hyundai for some reason (I KNOW, don't yell at meee).

And I was thinking... hey! What if Cherrier could make a pickup truck? Kind of like how Hyundai has their Santa Cruz. A modern pickup that could be based off of a extended Tograc frame, maybe?

And we'd call it the Cherrier Camion or sm.. idk

Currently having a greyed-out car issue and I can't tell what is causing this issue I don't have any mods associated to the FCV currently. What I can do is use any paint design and the car functions normally has anyone else experienced this?

I've been playing around with this car a fair bit recently, mostly "crash testing" it against a few other cars in this game, and I have to say this thing is an absolute tank. The base model Tograc takes on the significantly heavier bluebuck at a (combined) speed of 140 km/h without even a cracked windshield, meanwhile the bluebuck is looking twistier than the Utah roads.

It also somehow managed to flip over a T-75 with fairly little structural damage

It's more modern than a bluebuck, so it fairs better in crashes. In the 60s safety was based on two things: drivability and ease of winsheild cleaning.

The bel air is 85KG heavier. The malibu here doesn't have as many safety features as the newer tograc now, does it?

Absolutely, modern cars are super tough. That video and a couple others of the same sort (old car vs. new one) really put into perspective the leaps we've made in terms of safety. Hence me saying the Tograc is a tank by comparison with the older cars that are often seen as tougher and stronger, despite those old body-on-frame sedans really having no structural strength other than in the chassis itself :p
The Malibu definitely isn't as advanced as the Tograc would be, though the fundamental principle of having a strong cabin paired with soft crumple zones is definitely there in both cars.

Btw it slightly looks like strange but the car was being assembled in 2020. But it was so popular and it have so many versions that company can assembly only for 2 years.

pls don't yell at me if I wrong

It was released in the game in 2020 so they made in manufactured from 2020 ingame, too.

I guess they could add a second year from time to time.

Are the headlamps of the tograc purposely like thunderbolts?
