Add a car called the "Civetta Tempesta" it is an 80's sports car from 1982 to 1990 and is based off the Lamborghini Countach and looks like this:
Add a car called the Soliad Eagle based off the Oldsmobile Aurora. Configs: V4 engine 0 to 60 mph in 30 seconds and FWD also known as Front Wheel Drive and the rest is the same. The Soliad Eagle was made from 1997 to 2003 and the facelift is a mix of a Oldsmobile Aurora and a Oldsmobile Cutlass and mode from 2004 to 2013 with a V6 engine. (The pictures shown is a 1997 to 2003 Soliad Eagle)
With the Bastion coming presumably this week and the 392 Wrangler all over the news, I've been thinking a lot about the lack of factory extreme off road vehicles. The only things we have in this class are the Hopper & D-Series Superbuilds. Dropping the still unnamed top Bastion engine into a modern large vehicle would be a very fun way to fill a couple of empty niches. Being that this is one of the more popular mainstream enthusiast segments IRL right now, I do feel it is a priority to fill. While there a few options IRL to take inspiration from (AMG twin turbo V12 G-Wagon, Bronco Raptor, 392 Wrangler), I would prefer to see this role taken by a full sized pick-up truck. Aside from the Pigeon we only have one pickup at the moment. While this would be another American BoF full sized truck, I feel the differences in the truck market between these two time periods are enough to justify it. Modern trucks are massive and incredibly capable, and have become family haulers/lifestyle rigs opposed to the work trucks like the D-Series. Overall this would be the first modern truck, second modern American vehicle, first factory extreme off-roader, and very different than the D-Series we already have both in market position and physical characteristics. Shoving a 700hp Supercharged V8 in it with factory lifted suspension could give us the only real competitor to the pre-runner superbuild so far. And that isn't even mentioning the possibility of a Kentarch 6x6. Fun fact, wikipedia lists 23 different engine options for the W463 G-Wagon. TIL... On another note, as we do need something British, and the track toy/compact performance car segment really does need to be filled as well. A vintage or modern British sports car would be a great addition to the game. Like a modern pickup truck this would fill a few empty niches with something fun and with unique gameplay, as well as being a fairly highly requested niche. Depending on the particulars this could be an early, mid, or late game car. Here in the US vintage MG's are a dime a dozen even in decent shape, while a 15 year old Elise would be firmly a mid-game car. But what really gets me interested in this segment is the potential modifications. Looking at the vintage route, there's inspiration to be taken from Shelby's personal car, the '65/'67 427 Super Snake. Dual superchargers, good for murderous top speed with 1960's technology, and offering one hell of a vintage racing option. Then there's the modifications to the Lotus, which are equally insane. IIRC the original Tesla Roadster only shared less than 10% with the donor Lotos Elise, but the test mules were much more similar to the base car. Being that BeamNG cars aren't exact copies of real life cars, this car could be designed with electric conversions already in mind. Then there's the original Hennessey Venom, which is in a similar situation as the electric Elise. This would finally fill the supercar niche that all the BeamNG Youtube comments always ask for... Would any of us on the forums really complain about having a 270mph car in game though?
In terms of a British car, I think there's also the luxury car market to consider. Beam really doesn't have a top of the line luxury car yet. Something like a Bentley Continental/Continental Flying Spur with 2/4 door options could fill that niche with sedan, coupe, and convertible versions while also providing a performance car as well, not to mention full blown GT3 cars too. It also opens up new engine options too, with twin-turbo V8s and twin-turbo W12s as some possibilities as well. A V12 could be possible as well as Rolls-Royce offered one.
1955-1964 IME Iberia It is a Spanish mid size car based on the SEAT 1400 with cues from the Borgward Isabella and Ford Consul . IME is a Spanish car company founded in 1955 by the Spanish government. It is based on SEAT and Santana. Its name stands for 'Industrias del Motor Espanolas' which Google Translate says is Spanish for Spanish Motor Industries. The Iberia's design came from an abandoned design from Autobello. It used a 1.5 liter engine. It was front engined and front wheel drive. It got about 20 miles per American gallon with a top speed of about 75 miles per hour. About 72 thousand were produced by 1964. None were exported. About 20 convertibles were produced, and 15 of them are around today. VARIANTS: Base: a base model with a 1.5L engine. Estate: a rare estate car version of the Base. Only one working prototype was made and was put in a museum where it would definitely be safe from you. Police: a Base with a Spanish police paintjob. Convertible: a rare convertible version of the Base. Only 20 were made and 15 exist now. Taxi: a Base with a Spanish taxi paintjob. Beater: a Base that was left on the side of the road because it ran out of gas and its owner forgot about it. Why do we need this or something like this? Because there are no Spanish cars and there are only 2 cars from the 50s. --- Post updated --- 2018-Present Ibishu Natra It is a Japanese compact battery electric vehicle based on the Nissan Leaf.
