About $250 to $300 depending on the state of the parts and the exact parts in the system.

Probably $350-$375. It should be able to run most games up to a few years ago (I only replaced my 260 last year sometime, and know someone with a worse dual core) If it's a retail license of Windows you might be able to transfer the key to a new system.

don't buy it basically. That much for second hand parts, vastly outdated hardware for that kinda price. You could get a better selection of parts brand new from newegg probably. This is an old system that won't last too much longer. In 2 or 3 years you'll be wanting to strip the electronics for gold and copper and not much else.

Offer him $50, because all I'd want out of it are the two hard drives and that case.

I would not buy that, i have a similar setup that's been dusting in the wardrobe for about 1 year. I was even thinking about giving it to someone for free because i can't even get it sold for 50$. I live in Sweden though, maybe it's different here.

CPU is really old, 260 is old, hardrives aint good to get second hand, you want good solid harddrives so you don't loose any data _When_ it breaks. Powersupply is atleast for me a no-name brand and i do not like no name brands in my computers. Worth saving probably is the SD.

    my 2 cents

Id agree with this guy, its old junk. For not much more than $400 you could build a i3 with brand name parts.
