A new rear and front subframe, tasteful exterior touch up (the texture update alone is impressive in it's detail), more parts in general, and derby parts that finally give the LeGran/Wendover Derby configs some competition, which is honestly what the car was missing, it feels more useful now. I don't disagree though, it feels like both the H-Series and Pessima are two halves of the same three-quarters-baked remaster coin. That's not to say either of them is bad, it just feels like it would have been better to focus on one at a time, rather than have two remasters that feel like unrealized potential. I already saw the current Bolide as a very pretty car, so I'm personally okay with the mostly unchanged front end, that part I can't really argue with anyone on because it's personal taste. Although I do see some sneaky air vents on the B-pillars, the devs can't just straight-up copy the Ferrari 308.
Maybe you guys just have really high expectations that aren't feasible and would require a ton of work to redesign an already good looking car for minimal gain. Just saying.
To be fair, it's kind of grown on me since I first saw it. I don't think you can get the full effect of the new proportions and other changes with it in the air, with the suspension extended and from that angle. It's still a bolide, it's always going to look like an entry-level parts bin special
The original is just so much missed potential, it passes up every chance to have an identity and looks too conservatively styled for what it is (on the other hand, it's fine if it's supposed to be an entry level supercar made of parts that fell off of Autobello's 70's/80's models)
I doubt that the Bolide comes with the Bastion tbh - I suspect this is the start of 0.25 teaser cycle - which has started oddly early.
You know I have to say, your assessment is very lacking, All we've seen confirmed is the group b version. Every single other remaster has been amazing and I highly doubt this one will be any different... Stay Positive, This is the most updated and consistent game right now, there is no reason to complain.
I was just wondering and I have a feel this is a stretch but, is there a possibility of the Bolide getting a Targa top bodystyle in the remaster? Would be great for someone who wants to live out their Magnum PI fantasies.
Decided to make a close comparison current vs new The remaster is looking pretty good, especially the suspension you can slightly see underneath. You can also see the tailgate is plastic or glass which is cool. The lights however are a bit questionable, they are the same as the current one which is odd considering almost all the recent remasters have gotten new 3D lights, i'm hoping it's just because its WIP though
With all due respect, that teaser image is terrible. The angle stinks and the field of view is way too low, plus having the suspension extended like that makes it look even taller than it really is. Maybe I should not have been so quick to judge it based on that one image, sorry.
In this case I'm talking about the mechanical parts model and texture quality which is outstanding on the Pigeon and the Vivace.
