its been a fair bit is it in progress?

 

Ehh, well I have discovered an update proof way of modding the sounds, by giving the blend files the same names as the ones in the vanilla game, but it gives less freedom with EQ mods, and the sounds will have only the same varyiety from car to car as the default game.

 

so in a nutshell...?

No sorry, I haven't really felt the need to do much more to this mod because its a pain to update.

dude that legran sound is so good, im so happy you did this because i always hateddd the v6 sound ingame

There's toootally nothing wrong with the vanilla LeGran v6 sound it sounds just like a grandpa car would :lol:

 

the only problem is that the engine sounds are somewhat loud, which means that they almost sounds like a tuned/rally car for some reason and the volume needs to be lowered down a quite

 

have you ever stood next to a car irl that is at max RPM? the volume almost matches that of the horn, which is what i tried to do with this mod. some need adjusting a bit but overall i dont see an issue

If i can, could i use your engine sounds in a mod that im creating? ive been looking everywhere for new engine sounds and yours so far seems like the best to me.

also just had a thought, what if you made the use of the inital d engine sounds?

 

I think the ETK 6 cylinder could use some tweaking in idle RPM. Sounds a bit too farty. Ok, no, it sounds extremely farty.
