Thanks for the reply. But unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I deleted the mods and redownloaded them about 5 times ... even did a "deep cleaning" (or whatever it's called) of the cache. I also deleted out all of my saved versions, but the problem still exists. I can create new versions with "normal" hubs/tires ... they just won't have the correct wheels/hubcaps. It looks like that's the only option.
i dont think so id say try to change throught al the custom tires and rims to see if a certin combo will work but honestly idk how to fix it to lazy to figure it out maby just rough it out till update
The windows, taillights and headlights all have broken textures and the Delta 88 just flat out won't work. Can anyone give a reason/solution to why?
If i burst a tire with node grabber or via collissions something that isnt from the fun stuff thing. It just makes a tire burnout sound and theres no sound besides that no explosion sound no fire no collision sounds no glass breaking. and doesnt respond to any controls. The explosion doesnt even work. Do I have corrupted mod files?
Hello is there a fix for the rear tire?: And when u break a tire you cant move your car even if you respawn it.
They changed the textures for pretty much all the tires. So if you see that problem, remove the "dirty tires" option.
Make sure you have the base for this mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/codename-oldsfullsize.1417/ Once you've gotten that mod, make sure to go to your userfolder (appdata/local/beamng.drive/version number) and delete the temp folder (it's basically just deleting cache but more quicker) and go into the vehicles folder and delete any folder related to this mod (assuming you didn't make any custom configs)
I already read about what SergentFido said about not having time to update this mod, but IF it ever does get a major update with a new 80s vehicle, it'd have to be the Cadillac Deville/Seville/Eldorado/Fleetwood. Don't know if it's ever been suggested, but that would make the perfect addition to this already superb pack, and it'd be really fitting, but as always, it's just a suggestion, not a request.
If it does need a major update then not much new content but more like bringing it back up to date, fixing bugs, adding PBR, and a lowrider config.
Good advice, but in my humble opinion it would be difficult: excepting body panels, Fleetwood had "Air-Ride" system (automatic control rear air springs) in standard equipment and L62 V8-6-4 variable displacement engine (only in 1981). RWD Seville based on Nova ( https://automotivemileposts.com/cadillac/seville/seville1976nova.html ) and all flagmans had "Tripmaster" trip computer as an option*. But "CTK 28-series" (who remembers that mod ?) had OBCII onboard computer, Active check control panel, and they were fully functional ! *Tripmaster:
Yeah they were just suggestions, and not every one of the models would have to be done --- Post updated --- Yeah I understand that if the mod were updated, it'd probably just be fixes and new configs. I was just suggesting that if there were to be a new vehicle added into the pack, it'd be the Cadillac, since it's pretty similar to the Oldsmobile and Chevrolet. I didn't mean for it to be considered, it was only IF a new vehicle were to get added.
download the base mod Codename : oldsfullsize | BeamNG --- Post updated --- download the base mod make sure you ahve it and not just the addon pack
