Two German Diesels, the 2.0 Inline-4 and the 3.0 Inline-6.
Tbh, I'd like to see a German V8 Diesel with twin electric turbos!

diesels were well and popular here back in the 90s, the like of the toyota carina, corolla and avensis are proof enough of that

    ETK 2.0 diesel
    ETK 3.0 diesel

The Cherrier has two as well. I don't really count the LXT35 as a passenger car for this purpose.

My point is more vehicles than not could use a diesel, yet only 3 do, and all 3 are modern Euro.

Not to mention that diesels are mainly nonexistent outside of trucks and SUVs here in the US

I really doubt we'll see a diesel engine in the Bastion. It doesn't make any sense considering the lack of a market for a diesel RWD sports sedan in the US (Where I'm imagining the Bastion would be mainly sold)

They were also well and popular here in the US for only a few years in the early 2010s, and then dieselgate happened and no one seems to care about diesels anymore. The sedan could have a V6 diesel like the one found in the Jeep Wrangler, but that is probably unlikely, considering the trend the devs have towards non-German diesels.

Yeah, Olds diesels were not good to put it lightly, and VW nailed the coffin shut. It was sad, I test drove a TDI Jetta before getting my first truck (which someone made me total :() and I really regret not buying it. Low-end torque was fantastic. I really wanted a diesel to be in the pessima remaster, cuz we don't have any vanilla diesel sedans. I hope they add that to the Bastion, it would make for a great car to drive :)

    I think I know why.

late 70's- early 80's Oldsmobile diesels come to mind.

I’m curious to see what the Bastion’s V8 engine is going to look like; the only V8s we have in game are various Gavril engines and the Wendover

Is that a Bolide? Will we be getting a Bolide update? I don't want to jump to conclusions but it looks different than some other configurations than the ones I have.

Yes, the photo is blurry but it seems to be a rally version of the Bolide

Well the LX and LD Dodge and Chrysler cars have 6.5l engines as the largest displacement.
The Last gen RWD Commodore had a 6.2 litre engine as the largest option.
So yeah realistically around 6.5 would be the max.
