Update Speculation thread

I wonder if that native Linux version is still coming soon, given the hint from BeamNG.Tech that it would in 0.24. Probably not an easy thing to do but I keep my hopes high.

Does anybody know if there was at some point an official assessment on whether a proper racing mode would come? With more than 5-7 cars and a proper AI that can overtake and avoid crashes, a leaderboard, fastest laps, etc.?

I love how you are indirectly saying that the AI sucks. But no, there has been no announcements that I know of.

 

i think the AI is great but sometimes a bit broken and im sure more improvements will come in the coming updates
and does anyone know of a full update log? like one with every little change described in it?

Well… I’m bored. What do you guys think the next update after the bastion release will have? I’m thinking bolide remaster and a big new map.

 

I hope the Bolide remaster comes at all.

Why would the update not come? Don't think BeamNG GmbH is going anywhere

 

Since we know about the Bastion now my money goes to the Moonhawk maybe alongside the Bolide.
Next map could be Italy remastered or an entirely new one.

 

Sorry for my misleading words, I meant to say that I hope the Bolide remaster comes at all, a little joke, as people (including myself) have been really up in the air about it. But I can see how it can be misleading, I'm just going to edit that...

 

The Bolide is a very special car. It definitely deserves it's own bespoke update.

I can't think of a better car to pair with tire thermals, since it's just going to make that wild beast even scarier :b

 

Guys, I'm gonna say something that may surprise you :
Even if the update is less than one week old, don't you think that we could receive a teaser today ?

It seems a bit crazy, but in the devblog it's written "Keep an eye on our social media for clues to the other contents of the holiday update!"

And even if there we don't know if we'll have other content than the car (Tdev says something, the devblog the opposite), they could at least tease the Bastion !

 

honestly who knows at this point. im just happy to get teasers and info.

 

I imagine they would tease a few variations of the Bastion, I imagine a high performance variant or something.That or maybe tease small vehicle part additions that just missed the Feature freeze deadline (as we do get new parts in hotfixes sometimes).

 

The fact that the QR code in this teaser picture leads to rickroll really turned me off. I'm not going to hype any BeamNG after that.

 

I'm sure we will be seeing teasers leading up to the holiday update; today is a question mark though.

So CK posted Some photos of a rainy Utah map wich is probably going to be a mod but small detail caught my eye the fog in his screenshot looks miles better than the one we have at the moment
