Update Speculation thread

As much as I would love that, I don't think it would happen. Not gonna stop me from making a stock car config though

 

The Moonhawk is more like a Chevy Chevelle, a mid sized coupe/sedan with sportier trim levels. I definitely feel that the Moonhawk is much more suited as a base for a mid-size malaise era car than a pony car, we have the Barstow for that

 

i agree with what leroux said but i think it's not gonna have a 2 door variant
but yeah a small moonhawk update with the bastion would make sense

 

One thing I speculate will come in the part 2 winter update is(besides the Bruckell sedan) Career mode.
There are a few motivating reasons I speculate this:
1. When you spawn up AI traffic and have them drive around you can no longer toggle through the traffic
2. When the traffic is driving around and you crash into A car, and park next to them, after a few minutes of waiting a sign that says "you have exchanged insurance info" appears.
3. Career mode is the perfect filler for 0.24 Part 2 in my opinion because it is something big. and people keep saying that this "part 2 update is gonna have something big."

Version 1.0 is still years away. I don't think career mode is coming anytime soon

 

Nobody noticed the addition of the steerable rear axle in the bus tho?

If you're talking about what atv said he said that only a small portion of it came in this update, and that it's all code and no graphics.

 

I dont think career mode will come this year. Because why would they release the update as part 1 and part 2 in such a short time? Career mode would be such a big feature that no one would have complained if they would have dropped the update at the end of this month.
Only reason would be to not have too many bugs at once but idk.
Releasing the update with a car in one of the following hotfixe releases without any more big things (like career mode) seems way more likely because they already did this with another update.
But we might see some other content like new configs or probs.
And if we are really lucky we might see PBR for a new map.

I don't know, he and @Sithhy seems pretty close to the devs though.
One thing is sure, this guy knows a lot about cars. You can find a very detailed post about ffb on his discussion feed.

 

Since someone brought up career mode as a possibility for the update, what do you guys think the update could have aside from the bastion?

PS, this and my message earlier about bastion content speculation have both been attempts to keep this thread sane.

What i meant was that i would be neat to have some moonhawk content or a little WIP remaster along with the new Bastion since they are both more or less related like the GM and the Bluebuck was.
