Update Speculation thread

BeamNG devs do a hell of a job of bringing up hype for an update without doing anythingn

 

There have been quite a lot of innovations within the battery space, although none are really ripe enough to be more than a concept.

 

Do you guys realise that the H-Series from that teaser 3w ago had dual side cargo doors?
I don't know IMO it looks a bit strange.

 

how is there no teaser for the second week in a row

 

no more teasers

expect the worst and even a crumb of what you really want will seem amazing

 

I looked a bit deeper in that teaser but the only things that I seen are:
H-Series Remaster (Obviously) With new configs & Paintjobs, Probably new body styles with dual side doors & (No side door?)
New (20-21 inch?) chrome 5 spoke Audi-ish looking (centerlug?) wheels
Working street lights

I didn't found more which makes that silence a bit more confusing for me

 

Sure there is still that one mystery sedan-looking car and the obvious Pessima remaster with clearly visible centerlug race wheels and new bodykit's.

 

Also fridge

 

Either that means that the update is soon, or...

 

I don’t know if we’ve ever gotten an update on a Wednesday. Probably unlikely because they’ve have to work on bug fixes over Thanksgiving. I think Thursday is extremely unlikely because that’s Thanksgiving in the US and I’m pretty sure some of the devs are American. Friday unlikely cause they would need to work on bug fixes over the weekend. don’t think they’ve ever released an update on the weekend or a Monday. That makes me think Tuesday November 30 being the next likely date.

 

Yeah ik but i didn't mention it because.. why

 

If only the devs would clear things up a bit..
They watching this thread every now and then and laughing theír asses off watching us getting crazy over the silence.

 

No toaster taserday sadly i think they are just ironing out bugs so they have no time for teaser toasters and itl prolly be out next week

 

But the pictures and the vid giving me the feel, that the light effect is a bit better but i wouldn't bet on that cause it's still just speculation

I honestly don't think that the teased car will come into 0.24 since remasters are slightly better to handle than making and adapt a whole new car into the game so i give it the bet on spring.

And christmas is near and the devs won't be happy to erase bugs during holidays.

 

Why whould one of the devs post about understeer on the new top secret car then?

Anyways i think this is a volvo s60 (traced the lines on both cars and are allmost similar) and it matches good

 

Lets hope the Automatics getting good for cruising.
I admire the devs work but they certainly need to rework most autos shift logics.
The 4-spd of the 1st gen Pessima shifts like it hasnt seen an ATF change in 400.000km or someone dumped the transmission ecu in cheese cream.
Thats my main concern actually since im THE automatic transmission coinesseur

 

I am 100% sure they wouldnt post the car now if it was releasing in spring

 

Yeah i find that highly unlikely either
