So I only just started experiencing this, I don't know if it is a fault or if it's just a detail. Its just that DCTs never used to have whine, and I haven't yet ran my game on safe mode to find out if it's a vanilla feature. Even weirder so, I hear gearbox whine even when revving at a stand still. Is this normal?

I have done some testing & comparison and I have found that both the manual and DCT can be heard when coasting in a lower gear with high revving engines but only the DCT can be heard when revving in neutral. I don't know if it is a hydraulic pump providing power to make the gear shifts or if part of the gearbox is still meshed to another gear on the input side while in neutral but this is detail. I first heard the manual gearboxes whine in the Pigeon about two or three major updates back and I thought it was rather cool, it is not as easy to hear in more modern cars as they are better insulated. I have not heard much of the epicyclic automatic though which is odd as in my experience these are the louder ones.

Ah so its not just me :)

This is interesting, I don't have any experience whatsoever with automatics irl or in the game, so I wouldn't have known this.

It is surprising how much detail there is. I weighed a car then drove it around for a bit so the fuel gauge dropped and out of interest I weighed it again, and the weight had actually dropped due to the amount of fuel used.

A DCT is like two manual gearboxes slapped onto each other.
In a syncromesh transmission, all the gears are spinning even if the gearbox is at neutral. If you still hear the whine in D or R at a standstill, then it's a bug. I'm currently away from my gaming computer so I can't test this right now.

If you check the car's weight before and after breaking the oil pan, it will also be slightly different because the oil will leak out. But it's kinda weird how breaking glass doesn't remove its weight, if all there's left after breaking is just a big hole and some shards left on the edges, it should theoretically lower the weight, unless all of the glass bits and pieces landed inside the vehicle, which usually doesn't happen.

How many nodes are inside the Tanker Trailer? When the tank leaks, how many nodes will leak out?

The tanker trailer doesn't leak, I guess the structure is too complex to implement realistic leaking effect to it, because leaking is supposed to happen when a specific beam breaks, which works in case of small structures like a fuel tank or oil pan because any damage to the structure will most likely affect that beam, but the tanker is large and has many beams, and hitting it could make a hole but not affect the beam that is supposed to cause the leaking and it would make no sense, there would be a hole but no leaking. For a similar reason it doesn't explode or burn either.
