Why in the name of Jesus is the brakes 35k polygons... that leads to more polygons then an entire beamng car! Not to mention each one has 5 materials absolutely killing the drawcalls! EDIT Combine that with some of the 30k polygon wheels, times it by 4 for all the wheels on the car, and you are almost at the entire polycount of every single part on the D-Series combined... Why. Just why.
Ok... So why did he put it in 2 car mods at least, and not optimize it like a basic 3d modeler would? This is some meshslap level bad modding practices.
sounds like u would try to run my content on a 400 mhz celleron d cpu. if it is to hard for your system i excuse it but then u should stop using it and not cry around here. it is what it is but please stop crying around cuz of high poly count .. read description and you will mention that this is a CSR2 model and they 're definitly not low poly. sorry but i dont understand
You do understand that on a car like that, the polycount is more then most first person view models in games right? This isnt some 'barely over the polycount' this is WAY WAY over it. This will kill any pc that is not 3060 or better, and may even still kill them. This is basic 3d optimization shit my guy. This is unacceptable in a game engine not built for it, we are not running UE5 nanite here we have LODs for a reason.
idk but it sounds like that u have no plan .. it is full edited on jbeams and all stuff so pls stop messing around here, itf it is not good enough for you then press delete and finish youre talking absolutely shit her man im running a intel i5 4th gen 16 gb ram and a 1050ti oc 4gb on 35-40 fps with my mods on maxed settings
Im using a 4gb 1650 with 8gb ram and an i5 + using some shaders I can run the game at 40-50 fps depending on which map + i use the high preset so idk how or why you are complaining about the poly count you cannot play beamng on a 10 year old 4gb ram windows 8 with no gpu and expect to get over 20 fps

Well I admit it turns out I had a flaw in my testing... I had a render on in the background I forgot about (with my 3060, hence the gpu). So yes my performance math was off... but the point still stands that this can cripple pc's with lower specs. Its exactly why games these days do not have these on screen often. Drawcalls and polycount are the 2 big performance killers, and you may have instances with 4-5 of these cars on screen via traffic. Do basic optimization, its not hard. --- Post updated --- Oh before I forget, I got here because someone in the discord was having performance issues with your mod so... yeah thats what im talking about lol.
Correct... if a mod is properly made. a 500k polygon engine block is far from properly made (the RS6 has that) combined with 35k calipers and 30k wheel rims. THAT is on the dev.
Why can't you just use vanilla brakes like every other mod maker does??? You can safely delete this high poly mess and use like K-Series brakes or something instead

heres me running 49 something fps with 5 cars 335 mods and reshade i have a 2060 and i7 9700 ,16gb ram
