Isnt it crazy how much the graphics have evolved? I remember when everything used to look like an old 3d animation from 2007 but now the graphics are minty You see these graphics? This is from the base game and i dont use any type of graphics mod. I find it very impressive especially since its running on a torque 3D engine. Although the most fps i can get is 60 fps because of the 2048 texture shadows but otherwise i can smoothly run 75 ish fps on my gtx 1060. Also is this the right thread to post this stuff? This is pictures..
Code: scenetree.findObjectById(scenetree.findObject(scenetree.findClassObjects("scattersky")[1]):getID()).texSize = 2048 to the console. (GE - Lua)
Mod you can find here https://modsgaming.ru/load/beamng_d...mobil_vaz_2103_dlja_beamng_drive/38-1-0-94468 It was made by BobrEx and pabl0154
I wonder if it's a bigger meshslap than lada car pack (which was a good meshslap thanks to the sheer amount of content but still meshslap with almost unmodified Jbeam for everything)
The thing about the lada car pack is that the cars had terrible FFB, i mean you couldnt even remove power steering so the steering was always extremely light which was really unfortunate. But here youll see it uses the jbeam of a miramar which fits it crazy well lol. --- Post updated --- Because the ones who made the mod posted it there. I think they only speak russian which could be why they dont use forums in beamng drive.
The Miramar is partially based on a Lada so no surprise it fits, and the FFB issue is because for whatever reason it used an outdated version of that Jbeam
Yes but they also know exactly what they are doing because they developed the system. People have been begging for a visual JBeam editor for years but nothing has come up.
I could be wrong but if you have the game open at the same time and you press ctrl+r it'll update the position of the nodes.
That does actually make sense, when i change things in my car mod i can see that it changes after ctrl+r.
