if you look very closely at the shadow you can see the little stand and its shadow


if we compare the darkness to the shadow to the darkness of the surroundings or to the lighter shadow produced by the fridge we can see that this is indeed a projection of the object

TBH this looks just like SSAO.

 

About the big chungus magnet, I really doubt that it will be implemented in game...
But you'll say : "Dude ? Why would they show us something on a teaser, and then don't release it in game ?"... and you're actually right.
But what we can think about is : "custom skins".
Like a new system implemented, where you can put your own images : here it's a Piccolina, a Beamng logo and a big chungus on a Fridge, but why not a Utah, ibishu pigeon and a meme man magnets ?
Then, a Dev could just have put a random meme for fun.
Then, the possibilities will be infinite, if it's implemented with cars, !

SO sorry about my Off topic GTA post last time. It was late at night and i was not thinking.

I hope this is on topic now. What if this new Fridge/freezer is a Hint that Feather freeze is here. ( where they work on bugs for 2 to 3 weeks )

Also so this seems like the times we will be getting more info on the new car. From now to its out when ever that is,

You're maybe joking, but if a sticker system is implemented to cars, wouldn't it be interesting ?

 

Most major updates have been dropping three-four months apart, I reckon it'll drop shortly. In the next 1-2 weeks. And maybe some other update shortly before Christmas or in the new year.

 

true, considering its almost the end of october. So 2 more weeks is basically mid november lol

 

That system was used for the following:
Student driver decals for the covet (also had a roof sign)

BeamNG Delivery decals for the H Series
(can't find an image online for these, they were relatively simple and only on the sides of the van, and used the old BeamNG logo)
Police decals for the 200BX, Sunburst, and Grand Marshal



Sheriff decals for the Roamer


The police and sheriff decal textures can still be found in the common folder, albeit unused since October 2015.

I have old versions of the game that still have these decals, but I didn't feel like switching versions just for a single forum post, so you'll have to take my word on stuff like the H-Series.

 

Tdev told that this time it will take more time, as some bigger changes are oncoming (earliest possible mid November, but knowing reality when doing big things stuff usually go sideways, and it’s almost always later than planned). That alone is why I wouldn’t place my bet on “standard” release schedule. Plus IMO it would make more sense to drop a bigger update closer to Christmas leaving 2-3 weeks for hotfixes. So big update closer to 6 December, leaving time for hotfixes and polishing new car till Xmas. Another reason to push it later is GTA Trylogy releases mid November, which will take most attention in gaming industry, avoiding it makes sense, as YouTubers and streamers will be busy with it and will flood internet with that content for like first 2 weeks. - that’s something to consider, knowing YouTube content have huge impact on BeamNG fame.

 

Is that roof sign still a thing in the game? If not, thats a shame. (The computer I played on died like a year ago so Im completely out of touch with this game)
