    Vapordude made some progress:
    • Rear windows now have rubber (but rubberless version is still available for 600 version)
      asdasasd.png
    • Sport spoiler decklid vent cover
      dasasdasd.png
    • And he will be the one improving AdamPLG's lights so one more thing off my list.
Ricer version can have 3 spoilers now because yes lol

I'm relatively happy with the dummy driver Jbeam now, so I added a front passenger as a test
    sdaasdasd.png
It doesn't seem to cause any instability issues unlike in the original mod where putting 2 dummies would make your game crash after something like this:
    asdasewsd.png
Idk if I metioned it before but there are some options for the driver, and now the passenger too (size is smaller than irl average human by default due to slightly wrong proportions of the dummy model)
    ssdaas.png
And also each one has a camera in the head. Pretty cool I think.

I did some work on the exhaust again. Probably no more big changes in it, I have all I wanted now.
First I changed the exhaust parts selection again to have less duplicates:
    0.png
Exhaust tips now only affect exhaust-related stuff like where the particles are, afterfire sound properties, etc. Mufflers still affect the torque.

Then I added new exhaust tips. ST exhaust tip:
    1.png
And rally exhaust tip (it's just like the Abarth one but single, bigger and different colors):
    2.png

I also added short derby exhaust, it's obviously lighter than manifolds with a muffler and reduces the torque less, will be for the dirt racer:
    3.png

And also, while I was at the engine, I made the broken air filter actually visually broken, it's missing part of a pipe:
    4.png

Now I need to fix the bugs with suspension etc.

More dummies! Added rear passengers to the Maluch, it looks really cool when they fall off the convertible version!
    asdasdasd.png

    sadasasd.png
Back passengers are set up a bit differently. Normal size dummies won't fit in the back of the normal version, so by default they have kid size and weight, but can be rescaled to full size if you want adult-looking dummies on the convertible.
The back seat doesn't seem to comfortable, not much legroom at all, I had do modify the legs of the dummies so they fit...
    asdwwddw.png

Also I made an overload config. 2 adults 70kg each, 2 kids 27kg each, 60kg suitcases on the roof and 17kg in cargo area... The suspension doesn't like this lol

There are 2 types of windshield in the mod, one that just cracks (so this one) which is multi-layered and one that fully breaks which has a single layer. Convertible only had this safer one for obvious reasons.

Obviously, pretty much all cars have multi-layered windshields nowadays, just in this car the windshield is designed to fall off, because otherwise it could be shattered by the backwards opening hood and all the glass pieces would injure the driver. But this car was so cheap that lower trims had a single layer windshield, like normal glass.

Yeah now all of the cars have multi-layered windshields and they can't be fragmented, such this car's windshield:
    upload_2021-10-11_16-30-44.png
I have a question about this sentence:
You said the windshield of higher trims could fall off instead of being shattered; but when the windshield falls off, can't it be deformed or smth?! In that pic it sounds the windshield is made of steel, not glass. It seems too solid tbh...

Fair enough, I should make it weaker, but tbh I don't have any reference of how weak it should be...
(I guess I could make it as weak as the Piccolina one? Idk)
EDIT: Lol I see I accidentally made it 10 times more rigid than it should be and I assumed it's all good, will fix

Now it deforms, result of the same crash:

    Very WIP dirt racer stuff
    wwdadsad.png

Also, file size is now like 50MB lower because I deleted all duplicates in the model and other unused things. Here is all of the stuff which didn't have duplicates, so the parts I never modified:

With Xupaun's help I have fixed the off-road suspension geometry so now you can do this:

Since the front and rear off-road suspensions are near identical now, I could easily add proof-of-concept all-wheels off-road steering. Not sure if I'll include it in any configs yet because it's super weird and I can't fix it, steering box is inside of transmission and you can still steer when rear subframes fall off lol

I found some website about Maluch rally stuff, where I found out that on this car the rear suspension mounts and front leaf spring mounts are screwed to the chassis rather than welded, so they can fall off and it has happened some times during a rally so they started welding them... When I first saw them being screwed in Car Mechanic Simulator I thought it was a mistake or an oversimplification in the game because it seems too unsafe, but apparently that's really how thet are irl. I want to implement this in game now, rear suspension mounts as a separate part, you select screwed or welded, and welded leaf spring while the normal one will be screwed, and race one welded by default, that will be cool. Another typical reason of rally failure after oil pan leak and fuel tank rupture (which both happen in game a lot after big jump landings so the mod is realistic enough lol). I've already had the mounts deform in extreme testing on the new endurance map, I guess they should fall off instead, that will make for a pretty unique suspension failure. I guess that's also another reason why they lower the Maluch suspension for rally instead of raising it like on other rally cars, this is weird lol.
Also I need to make an alternative tow hitch. I thought the current one I made was bad because it can't handle any trailer heavier than 500kg... Turns out that's exactly the case irl too, it could be the primary reason why they made dedicated trailers for this car only that are like 450kg max when fully loaded. The bar the tow hitch is attached to is simply not rigid enough for heavier weight. So there is an alternative one that attaches... to the rear suspension arms, because there is no better place for it. It probably completely ruins the suspension behavior, it might even not move at all with it, but I've seen on a video that it allows you to haul even 10 tons of load no problem. (With a swapped engine of course... The issue is power, but not rigidity here.)
And also I'm making a fictional race front suspension based on Pigeon one, but the geometry of it makes it so I have to shorten the arms, so upper ones will be standard Maluch ones while lower will be shortened Pigeon ones probably. I just need better geometry and more stability for hillclimb version and other fast ones, because the stock suspension is not made for going 100+ km/h at all lol
A good thing is that the website I found confirmed that what I have in the mod for the 3 rally versions is accurate to real life, like I assumed the last one used Abarth suspension and it was confirmed, and I got the carburetor names correctly too. So I only need new skins for 2 of them and skidplate for the third one to have them fully accurate, of course I also need to do the screwed suspension mounts to have realistic rally failures and stuff.

Sadly I have not had time for modding almost at all, not sure when I will have time, would be great if someone with more time could help with interior textures.

Well that took way more effort than expected, but they can now fall off without issues (only on huge jump landings and stuff, shouldn't happen on crashes because they are really strong), fully compatible with off-road suspension too

Piccolina suspension for racing variants. I was planning Pigeon one but this fits way better both visually and structurally. Way more stable than stock suspension, a bit wider (like 2cm difference), quite a bit heavier but it's no issue (actually the weight helps against wheelies on super powerful variants), the advantages it gives definitely make it worth it!
    sdaasdasd.png
Next I'm swapping baja suspension, then making proper off-road version. Idk when I'll get to all of this exactly.
