This is great. Several years ago I suggested a cab over semi as a "most wanted". Loved these as a kid (still do), and spent many hours sketching them. Peterbuilts were always my fav. Looking quite good already. Have fun!
Lmao that looks like someone took normal T Series took out the whole engine section and glued the grille back onto it
Fair enough, I'm trying in Blender. I just practice making convertibles (just removing roof cleanly) but I'm starting to learn to model
So happy to see the implementation of a cab-over semi-truck in BeamNG - this is truly a mod to look forward to.
This looks very cool and promising ! Don't hesitate to ask for tips or help along the way if you encounter challenges or problems. I'm sure there are members wiling to give you some advice and even maybe help you out here and there if needed and or desired.
so quick update getting alot more of the jbeam done thanks to a friend who has helped me do this its very slow progress but its getting there
Yeah luckily for you this should be a fairly simple jbeam process, as it’s essentially a modified T-Series cab with no hood on in. I was thinking about going and trying to model a cab over but I’m a modeling noob and you beat me to it anyway. Good luck, it’s looking great!
I mean, that's Euro Truck Simulator from the looks of it, but that would be a whole lot more modeling and jbeam creation.
ill keep it in mind --- Post updated --- now have made the short frame alot more short and currently in the progress with the jbeam for it --- Post updated --- thanks with the jbeam yea some parts are simple for me but others are not --- Post updated --- thanks
Don't know if you have use for this but here's a link to a Brochure of an old Peterbilt 362 Cabover. the 10th to 12th Pages has info on how the chassis works. https://public.fotki.com/modeltruck...erbilt/peterbilt_362_1981/scan0023.html#media This one is a Spec Sheet.
