Some bug?

Whenever i join a map i spawn up like this, them bushes moves and the game runs.. But i cant move anything. Any tips of whats wrong?

 

Press 'J', looks like your physics are paused. Hope this helps

 

Already tried that :/ Dont work, its not the physics, alltho it would have been weird if it was to be paused by default

In some maps i enter and end up far away from my car, like this. This is the normal Grid Map! :s

 

those are the starting camera positions for when you first load up the maps, it looks like your game is freezing up or something (as it being far away from car when you first join the grid map is normal, it's just loading still)

 

Hmm, thats weird.. Now it has sitted on the grid map since before i wrote my last post.. Still dont move And i think my computer should be beefy enough to load this map up rather fast?

 

I don't think it's freezing if the shrubs move in the background :S Maybe if you post the Torque3D log someone can take a look at it? Maybe something isn't initializing?

 

It have never been like this, installed it from Steam yesterday on my C drive, but rather wanted to have it on my D drive, so i deleted it thru steam and installed it on my D drive. Suddenly nothing worked, and i have tried to re-install it like 3-4 times now! :/

I have no idea what to look for, all i see is "41.837674|*** TorqueBeamEngine destroyed ***" Being a potential problem (I have no idea if it's normal or not) and even if it is, it doesn't exactly help you on making it work. x\
Anyone else got any ideas?

 

I find some potential errors, like this:

How long is it frozen for?

 

It loads as far as in the screenshot, then nothing more

 

Ummm, those bookmark missing for the cameras appear to be normal (i have them to). The only place my log and your log differs is here: see pic below. From there it is almost all different. Also, the "TorqueBeamNGEngine destroyed thing is normal, it's when the application is closed/exited. Still, i'm outta my depth and i'm prob just being a nuisance calling out random things. I'll leave it up to everyone else now, good luck.

 

Gonna do a desperate attempt to whipe out all the files, first uninstall then manual if there is something left!

Ill come back with the result in some minutes! (Thank god for fiber optic connection)

For some weird and stupid way, it now works :s Maybe just some files that went to shit at the download? :s

I dont know, but if someone else should encounter this bug do this:

- Backup youre mods!
- Delete the game from within Steam
- Check in youre SteamLibrary folder that youre game folder is gone, if its not, delete it!
- Reinstall

Hopefully this will give profit!

 

also don't forget that is is steam, so you could have just verified game files or whatever it's called

 

Ran the file check twice, but did not get me any results! But the game is running like a charm now, at last! ^^

 

I am actually having a similar problem. I installed the game on steam and it worked fine but as soon as I put any sort of mod in It stopped working and did the same as the pictures shown above. I guess I'll just reinstall it. :/

 

That's happened to me every time I make a mod and there is some line of code that freezes the game. Make sure you don't have any modifications in the game.
