In the beginning, when it just came out I loved this mod. But now it is impossible to do a simple 400km trip without getting rammed. There are Always idiots who turn off their limiters and race semi trucks up to 150 km/h. Then there are the rammers. People who intentionally hit your truck while passing you and flip you over. Red light runners. Blockers. All that kind of rediculous users who ruin the fun for everybody else. That's why I stopped playing MP. The amount of idiots is rediculous. Cannot wait for ATS though. 15 screens leaked yesterday
Steam only but if you go to your steam library and hit "Add a game" on the bottom left you canr edeem your serial number for the disc to add the game to your steam library (one of the few games that does that)
I don't know if it is because of the new update from 7/28, (version 1.11) but I just downloaded the MPmod and either American or European servers don't connect, and says I need a specific version of the game (1.10 something or other) not sure if the new version is just not compatible currently, anyone else having this issue.
oh pyoop, I thought it would work...didn't realize it was not supported yet...well anyway I am buzzing right along in ETS2, and I am actually proud of myself for not bastardizing the vanilla game with all of these mods I found online. First of all, I am still getting used to the layout and mechanics of the game. Second, I am not sure/have not been around long enough to recognize "good" or "stable" mods yet...I was seeing things like headlight color changes (to look more like HID, etc) and stuff like that, but I am not sure if it is just plug-n-play, or if it is even stable, or how many people have downloaded it. So for now I am just trying to make money, pay back my 100K loan, upgrade my garage, and hire another driver. Until then, I will be using the stock game. Any suggestions on quick and easy mods that I should consider? Anything that I cannot simply live without, etc?
Yeh I already read about how important it is to have a separate profile for MP, as there are issues that exist between the 2...Once they support 1.11 I'll get on that asap. It's been a very relaxing, and actually a stress - relieving exercise, hour by hour lol

I also have ETS2, going to get this mod tomorrow, or tonight, we should def all try and meet up, do some trips, or just drive around we can even use TS3 to chat if anyone wants to.
I've been playing some MP lately, and it's nice. Of course there are some douches who block the road, or try to ram you off the road, but the admins take care of that. Olso, if someone doesn't know know how to downgrade the game, then you just go to ETS 2 properties, then betas, and choose temporary 1.10.1.19. Then you'll be able to play it till MP update comes out.

Seriously, fuck the new update. Most of it's good especially with support for the new update for ETS2. But there's one huge problem: forced speed limiter. All the trucks now are limited to 55MPH in the mod. Not only does this make passing and catching up impossible but it also means there's now a ton of people that are speedhacking to go faster. Including me. But there's also now a huge desync with all trucks because of it which means a lot of crashes.
