Unsolved World Editor Auto Duplicating objects

    Started working on adding some new objects to my map, but having an issue with the objects getting duplicated, presumably every time I load the level.

    Its only objects that I've put in a folder that was created after the last major update, whether that's a contributing factor I don't know.

    47 objects in the folder to begin with, noticed fps drop when I reloaded the level after quite a number of times while editing, now I have 46087 objects in that folder

    Included a screenshot to show how small the scroll bar gets when viewing items in the folder, I'm not sure how better to show this.

    Do them as Forrest objects they got better loading so no performance drop. Read this somewhere in the wiki. Too Many normal placed statics cause a high performance hit.

    Being a static object isn't the issue. Its the fact that they randomly multiply, I should only have 47 objects in that folder but managed to get 46000 of those same objects somehow.
    I did manage to delete the duplicates, went looking through my map folder and found some extra items.level.json's from saving then copying the new files over to map folder and then changing the objects I have into a folder which caused 2 lots of the same file, so that might be causing it. Will keep this updated if it happens again though

    If you can replicate this and provide the steps to do so, we can take a look, we added this issue to our bug tracker anyway but repro steps are even better if you can, thanks

    I have same issue with World Editor Duplicating objects. To be Specific 46m Bridge with Guardrails at ECUSA map. Im not sure but I think I found why this is happening as PREFAB file compiled as JSON and stored in Game files so I assume every time you load level this gets duped and you save dupe unintentionally and this get worse every time you load/save.

    Also is there a quick way of deleting ~100k objects (DUPES) as I deleted bridges manually using world editor (2 hours) still need to delete every pole, guardrail etc. I dont want to lose weeks worth of mod progress.
