The engine sounds were changed by Mehio when he updated the mod. In my opinion, I love the new engine sounds, but you can always download an older version of the mod from a shady mod reuploading website.
When was it last updated? I'm asking because I know some of the updates are coming through in the form of a message on this thread rather than the actual thread being updated.
The last official update was released on the 7th of August, 2021. The "updates that are coming through in the form of a reply" are UNOFFICIAL updates released by me, not the mod creator. Hopefully, this explanation is clear enough.
How do you install it because i tried to install it in vehicles (i was not able to find the mod folder) and it didnt appear can somebody pls help me
deleted capriceclassic and capriceclassic96 (aka old files for the mod) normal clean cache and 3x deep clean cache still no textures on the cars without livery
I have a mesh for a 1991-1996 B-Body estate wagon, but the file size is very large. Even then, I wouldn't know how to do add an estate wagon version because I'm not an expert at modding. If you like, you can help out on the mod.
The next unofficial update for the 4th Generation Caprice Mod has been released! This update includes a TON of new additions and tweaks! And yes, you read that correctly: 4th Generation Caprice. more on that later... First off, there's now functioning interior colour options. You can now have grey, red, blue, black, or tan interiors. There are more seating options. All of these new seating options work with the colourable interiors option. The regular seats, which have been renamed to "Premium Seats" also are more detailed. These are the new base "Basic" seats that come standard in every fleet (Police or Taxi) model. Classic/LTZ models have Premium seats. They also come in bucket form. There are also leather seat options for every seat type that also work with colourable interiors. These "grid pattern" seats are leather only and are of the Premium seating type. You can now have dual-tone paint jobs! Alright, here's my favourite change so far: I've made it so you're not limited to just the 1991 model. There's also "Late Model" 1993 configurations! There are also more options to select from more hubcaps, late or early model taillamps, bonnets, and remove the black door pillars to replace them with paint or chrome! I've also made it so you can choose between 2 1994-1996 engines! Now, there's a 5.7L LT1 V8 that makes a lot more power than the previous L05 5.7L V8. Don't worry, the L05 and L03 are still an option. There's also a 4.3L L99 V8 that looks the same as the LT1 V8 but it's slightly more powerful than the 5.0L L03 V8. You can also choose to make the Caprice look like a 1995-1996 model from the exterior using the "Late Facelift Glass" and "Late Facelift Mirror" options. The "Late Facelift Mirror" comes in a standard black form and painted form. There's also more hubcap options. The 3rd generation hubcap is also an actual hubcap instead of a wheel. There are also police variants that have lore-friendly liveries. Belasco City and Firwood liveries. Since a lot of people are complaining about the size of the car, (and rightfully so!) I've tried to reduce the size to be comparable to the oldsfullsize mod's Oldsmobile 98 Regency Saloon. It's still slightly bigger, but it's smaller than before. You can now opt for additional bumper rub strip trim for late-model years and early model years. This is incredible! Nicely done. Addressed every possible complaint, added extra content, just a great update all around. I hope stuff like this can inspire others to pick up old mods they like and fix them up.
-(Small Fix by myself)- I want to give a small update I made to the Caprice, nothing crazy, only PBR Glass and better thumbnails. (As always, make sure you've removed older versions before installing this one.)
