    When you've got light flares from your headlights, if you look at the front of the car, there's bits of the car that don't get overlayed by the flare. This includes things like the black bit around the windshield.

    This bug has been a thing for like decades and I don't think it's ever getting fixed at this point

    I spent a great amount of time trying to get around this by messing around with stuff with...
    "translucentZWrite" : true,
    "translucentBlendOp" : "AddAlpha",
    "translucent" : true

    I was using
    translucentZWrite set to true and translucentBlendOp set to "add"
    but the PBR update made my glass look completely invisible on the mod I was trying to make (could of been a bug since it works on test car still idk). All need "translucentZWrite but I think there were bugs with rendering all of them in some regard.

    (with translucentZWrite) "Add" is almost perfect but it makes the glass look hazy. Maybe a way to mess with _Da maps or the glass texture itself...

    The best alt two were "AddAlpha" and "Sub." at the cost of the interior and surroundings looking faded.
    Dark parts off glass might also be in front of light rays

    "translucentBlendOp" : "LerpAlpha" seems to alter the shading and color of the interior of cars and is not a great choice.

    I cant remember what all my notes mean sadly.
    Also smoke and water, and the sky horizon are handled differently for transparency.

    The layers for the light flares and the light flares itself do need a bit of an overhaul, they do seem a bit odd.
