Hello. I have always wanted to make Custom car Mods for Beamng just like a hobby or something. And I just dont know where to start, I dont know how to do anything custom pretty much, Like JBeam, textures, pretty much everything. I know there's a Wiki for how to make a Custom Car but I simply dont understand it. So I guess all im asking is could someone help point out where should I start or if you want to like how to get a custom car in Beamng. Hope you all are having a good day.
This might sound dumb but if you want to start making car mods, you don't start with a car mod. Make something simple, maybe even without a Jbeam and see if it's anything for you. Not to scare you off, but I think car mods are way more complicated than you think. It's written like that because it is complicated. I just found this great updated video, it might be able to help you with a start. (thank you @Artistterrymartin for this guide, very well made!)
