For everyone who has the problem with deactivating mod, try to delete the mod and reinstall the newest version. Beamng Support wrote me that should fix the problem, if that doesn't work, i will inf did you update the mod?
I've been having a problem where the ETK-K sounds like no exhaust has been connected. I was wondering if there was a fix for this or if it is just a bug in the mod? Thanks!
Alright, i tried deleting the mod and reinstalling the newest version, but it still does that deactivating thing
I'm facing a really strange situation, can't really fix it, When I load the engine, tachometer, and all of that stuff disappear In the console it says (Found uknown powertrain device type: combustionEngine_rk, Powertrain will not work!)
update the mod and clear cache that fixed it for me but i still have issues with it deactivating the mod every time i open beam
Been enjoying this mod immensely since it became available, but there is one item that I think may be beneficial to be added to some of the customization parameters. The exhaust "afterfire" sound effects (the too loud crunchy metal sort-of-DCT-fart sound) that play when pairing engines with especially fast-shifting transmissions (dual-clutch or sequential) sound awful on nearly every vehicle (a stock game problem,) and it would be very cool if the option to reduce or eliminate these effects completely could be implemented (these are the sounds that play on up-shift, typically under WOT.) Experimenting with one of the base game's files (etkc_exhaust_i6_petrol.jbeam) it appears that you can nullify the annoying sound by setting all instances of "afterFireAudioCoef" to 0. Could something similar be implemented as a slider or some sort of toggle with your mod (for its various engines?)
Hi Ranking great mod. How can i make a really big NA engine with a lot of torque, like 1000 N/m at 1500 rpm, I remember one previuos version of the mod, with the 13.4L V8 stock making a tonne of torque.
Definitely needs an update. Even on a fresh installation of Windows, Steam and BeamNG, the mod still deactivates itself after every restart. That isn't the biggest issue though. The exhaust is also missing on some vehicles. Very annoying. I also noticed that when i save a custom configuration and load it again after restarting the game and enabling the mod again, the configuration is back to stock. The correct engine stays installed, but the other options are reset, laving me with the stock configuration.
I just wanted to give a bug report. Not pushing anyone. I am well aware that mod creators have a personal life which often times gets very busy. Even if he only gets around updating the mod next year or in two years from now, then be it. A bug report is all I wanted to share lol.
