Before you say anything, please note this mod is YEARS old, there's no glass break, the lights aren't particularly functional and is based on the Gavril Grand Marshal. @Dean Wang if you would like me to remove the link, please reach out to me. (Permission granted) So to start off, this is NOT MY MOD, full credits goes to Dean Wang and though it's many years old and has been untouched for goodness knows how long (cannot confirm this), I was able to do a lot to it to improve it's looks. Since 0.23 came out, hundreds of mods have been effected, mostly materials. I don't see this mod being used, and i don't think I really have seen anyone use it for a long long time so reviving it might be something cool. After all, updating old mods is fun. @Dean Wang I've tried to reach out to you regarding this, if you like me to remove this post, please do let me know. For the time being I'll keep this thread on hold until I get a go ahead to release or remove this thread. Whats Changed/Updated? - Updated Glass Textures (glass does not break) - Updated Main Paint Materials (PBR) - Updated Rear and Front lights (mainly made the glass textures darker to cover the hideous brakelight textures, I'm sure Dean can agree it looked rather terrible) - Updated all Configurations and replaced what was essentially the Hopper Wheels with the GM Wheels (the main wheels) - Updated all thumbnails What's bad about it? - Glass does not break - Spawning the Vanilla Grand Marshal whilst the Dodge Charger is spawned in causes some horrific merging. - Neither left or right indicators work, only hazards. - Middle Brakelight does not illuminate - It can be quite slippery so be careful The image below is where I began my PBR update on the Charger: Before and After image: Updated Thumbnails and name: Other various images to show off the new revamped Charger/ Grand Marshal: For some configs to work you will need the D-Troxx wheel pack: https://www.beamng.com/resources/d-troxx-wheel-pack.185/ Update - (12/11/2021): Slight JBeam fixes thanks to @BryceSTP Mod link updated, please remove older versions before installing. Update - (19/05/2023) v3.0: - PBR Changes following changes by @Dummy1102 - Fixed configs problems - 2015 SXT configs (GRT , SuperBee and Police) - A few changes on Police and hardass - Rework taillights - Shading Issues fixed - Some changes by @BryceSTP but I cannot for the life of me remember what those were (believed to be parts) Update - (20/05/2023) v4.0: Following changes made by @DrunkDriver - Added better glass & glass break textures - Corrected all lights - Added much better gauges emissive map - Added a texture to the instrument cluster screen - Added ability to choose between a Radio and GPS - Added animated signal stalk, pedals, manual & auto shifters - Added gauge lights - Replaced 5.0 V8 sounds with the V8_cross_02_engine sample - Changed interior sounds - Made needles more accurate - Fixed missing center mirror mesh - Fixed steering wheel rotating weirdly - Fixed some parts clipping through the interior - Remade all thumbnails (Please be respectful on this thread, there's no need for drama or Karen Hour) Download Attached:
Awesome! But seems strange to see a GM (Ford Crown Vic / Buick Grand marquis / Chevrolet Caprice / Buick Roadmaster) being remastered to 2012 as a Dodge Charger. Shouldn't be dodge: Bruckell? Or am i wrong? On Topic: Awesome work!
If I may, wouldn't make more sense to name this the Barstow, considering the four-door Charger uses the nameplate of the classic muscle car?
Since OP said that you need D-Troxx in order for some configs to work, I assumed that there was a download link in the first place.
