License Plates are either always black, or don't load bumpmaps.

Every time I spawn a car the license plate is almost always black, and half the time when it DOES finally load it looks dark and flat because the normal/bump map for the plate doesn't load.

 

Regenerating the license plate name fixes this problem

 

Not for me. Only about a 1 in 5 chance for me. Most of the time it just stays black. It's also annoying to do since half the time anyways, most cars and configs come with custom plate text so it keeps changing the text.

 

Yeah it's really annoying but anyway there's no other solution, so you have to do it. Also try stop physics when regenerating the license plate, then your plate will not stay black and after 2 or 3 secs it'll be ready; and about custom texts, idk, I don't use custom texts in my license plates
