I'm using the Gravil Grand Marshal and I'm trying to learn how to drift just because it's so easy to get it into a drift, but the gearing holds in 3rd if I get it just right and my damping and all that is minimum or just a sliver of a few ticks above, I got a jank setup but it just isn't drift quite how I want it to. It won't hold straights unless it is in the perfect position and I'm using the race track (not automation, the other one) to test the car. It won't make it around that first corner when you start at the starting line. I pumped the boost to a high 25 in 1st, 35 in 2nd, 45 in 3rd, 60 in 4th, 80 in 5th, and 100 in 6th. I have rally on everything I can put rally on and sport on the rest (though brakes are race). What am I doing wrong? When I change the suspension in a higher position it just spins out. Help?

P.S: The rebound damping and spring rate, I just couldnt figure out so I left the rebound stock and the spring rate, I tried what felt best but it still aint working.

its not easy and you would likely need a few years to get Really good
my best advice is to meditate before drifting and acting as if drifting is your absolute state of calm...
(stay chill and trick your brain into thinking that drifting IS your meditation)
this way you will think faster, calmer, and be more efficient..

I found BeamNG a really bad game to learn the basics of drifting. I first got the hang of it on BeamNG, after I tried assetto corsa.
What I wish someone had told me, is that drifting is also A LOT about throttle control, not just flooring it. Also, use your clutch!!

I don't remember which tutorials I looked at it, but there's plenty on youtube.
This one seem's pretty detailed and good though: He's a real life drifter too.

Also, I wouldn't really recommend rally suspension parts for drifting. Stick with sport or race suspension.

I also recommend to use the realistic gearbox while drifting with a race manual transmission, as having a clutch and be able to shift gears manually is very useful, especially since the arcade gearbox tend to always shift at the wrong times. Also don't floor it, try to limit the amount of throttle and ngle so that you can always save it if something goes wrong.
