I think adding the functionality of sound effects to vehicle triggers would help with immersion, like adding clicks when pressing buttons or having a hydraulic whine play when using the rollback upfits lift.
This is interesting and I'm sure that either the devs or someone else are working on making this a reality.
We can't simply add sounds based on what you click, they always need to be tied to what actually happens in the simulation. Where appropriate, we will add such sounds over time.
Would be really nice to add out own OGGs for custom destruction sounds. I made a head of a person, it would be nice if I can make it grunt tying to Event>Destruction>art>sound>grunt.ogg. Only way to do it now is replace the glass_shatter03 for example in the games folder. That wont work for others to hear. You could just make that list update in the way ground models works adding that folder in a custom level. The game assumes to look there first. Then defaulting to the games goundmodels if none are found. I understand you want to keep the game from cussing racists or other offensive content. But as you check our levels custom sounds when approving you would for this too. Your developer sounds are great ! We are just some out of the box thinking folks. Listen to your community they have spoken )
