Maluch JBeam rebuild

    So I have been redoing dashboard textures, but there are lot of problems, imo.

    Anyway, that is part I separated from rest of the dashboard pieces, then I did new UV map for it.

    Although I'm not happy with that dashboard texture at all, but in case Agent_Y needs that to build file structure, it is there and I guess only texture files need to be changed in a future to make improvement.

    Another type of floormat texture too, but there I have problem with not enough black or then clipping, need to research how to fix that, although they do work kinda ok in some light situations.

    Sorry, but it seems to take bit longer to get these bits to be properly done.

    The floormats are good enough I think, as for the dash, it's good that you separated this piece, I can make a modular dash in parts selector where you select all parts individually, will be useful to remove the radio from the 600cc version as it never had one.

    I think sooner or later most textures will be redone, main body probably not because it would ruin most of my work and break all the skins, but things like lights, bumpers and everything in the interior will be remade

    Resized to 0.8x, 1.1y, 1.1z and it fits pretty well
    Actually turns out that the tires in mod files are the correct size already... So my wheels are wrong after all. Oof.

    So this is the correct tire size and correct front track width, based on my own calculations this time instead of trusting other people. Rear track width actually should be bigger than the front, but in the model the front and rear wheel wells are the same size so they would stick out with the correct width. So I made the rear track width the same as the front, or else it would look bad.

    The reason I made the rear track width so low previously was partially because of the suspension... The rear arms don't reach the wheels because they have a wrong shape.

    I'll ask Vapordude to remake the suspension, it's bad and inaccurate, and doesn't even fit the Jbeam at all now.

    These photos I found from web, previously this ashtray thing was in texture of dashboard, but I think it would need to have 3D model now, I can make simple rectangle for it (then getting shape done with texture) unless Vapordude has already done something about it?

    There is long list of tutorials and documentation I need to go trough now and then do lot of testing so I can make dashboard way I want to make it, with tile and brick generators it just is not getting quite right.

    Also there is still something odd with how differently height/normals end up in game, so need to explore that too, it just takes some time.

    I try to get placeholders for door cards made today though.

    Go ahead and make this, wherever the textures are more important than the model you should be doing the part. As far as I can tell that's the only variant and it only differed in color sometimes.
    Also height maps don't work in game, only normal maps.

    So I added a cool little setting

    This happens when you put too much oil in the engine, not sure what it does to the car but probably some kind of damage

    This is when you set less than minimum safe volume

    This is when you have a REALLY small oil volume (like less than 1L)

    And when you set below 0.3L oil the game freaks out and there's random damage lol, so that's the lower limit I've set

    Obviously unlike in the current version of the mod, each one of these is Jbeamed, can wiggle and can fall off like vanilla antennas.

    antenna wiggle makes this the mod of the decade
    and also the engine oil adjustment is genuinely a really neat feature, could see that as something the devs would put in themselves ngl

    I think the only reason why they didn't put it in game yet is because it gets buggy and random below 0.3L oil

    Does the Oil light turn on if the engine has low oil?

    if yes, then well, best mod of the decade i guess.
    Jbeamed seats, dummys, floor mats, antennae, in a tiny little hilariously fun car.

    Unfortunately the oil dash light electrics check is not yet implemented in the game. Once it is, I believe the oil light will work, I prepared it already.
    In other news: I have noticed that if you combine the SuperSport engine with the turbo and drag tires, the car will do countless uncontrollable wheelies even on last gear regardless of the final drive setting. So I "fixed" it.

    Now you can reach 300 km/h and crash into a wall. You're welcome.
    Just don't add the max nitrous shot size to this because it launches so hard it breaks the engine lol

    cool, because i did see that the oil light ON, was there in the .dds file. so i wondered if it would be in sometime :]
