BeamNG Launcher - Initialization Error

what do i do?

Maybe try run as admin?

 

did so, didnt help at all

 

Then antivirus can be reason for the issue, I guess that is most common cause, so try to suspend it for a moment and see if it works, if not then something is really weirdly wrong and I have no idea what it could be.

When having no idea, then usually best is to start fresh and make sure everything is at known state, like clean reinstall and using only normal installation in typical OS setup.

 

I have all of my antiviruses disabled, no clue whats the issue (reinstalled the game too twice)

EDIT AGAIN, I've figured out how to solve this, first off you create a folder in your documents or whereever else you want your userfolder to be in, and then you type -userpath C:\Users\Name\Documents\BeamNG.drive (or whatever other path to your beamNG folder is) in your steam launch properties

 

I guess there is something odd in registry key that sets userfolder path in windows registry or then some bug in launcher / steam thing.

It has to be something related to registry key as -userpath probably overrides that.

 

yeah, the game itself now does launch, but the launcher still gives me the failed to create userfolder error

 

reinstall windows or reset it
