Thats not the case, look at official vehicles, they have both png and dds files inside and .png in materials

 

This car is amazing!

 

It just takes a little bit to load. I found that if you clear the cache, then delete the Temp folder in your user files the following does show up briefly


However, once you look for the part in question, and then hover the mouse cursor over it, it loads like normal:



Then stays that way:


This ocassdionally happens to other mods as well, just takes a bit to load some textures properly.

 

yea, even i got the 'importing skin' skin when i loaded the race version, cpu pegged at 100%, wasnt able to do anything for a good few minutes

 

Apparently the issue is that cached files had an earlier date on them, thats why it preferred using pngs as a base and cook textures again

 

Yeah, generating cache for both chisai and a-series again, fix will be out soon

Small bug report

So apparently if you put stage 2 performance long block on 1.3 engine, it's really easy to lock it up. Here's the video how it happens

 

oh yeah also for some reason every time i update this via the repo the car breaks in the vehicle selector and i can only fix it by restarting the game
this doesn't happen with any other mod i have installed so it's a bit strange

 

Don't know if it's just me but the USDM dashboard is broken. Only shows the brake light and nothing else.

 

Can you show a picture? i cannot replicate the bug

 

None of them crash the game for me (even with your Jato Everything, and engine swap mod). I have 196 active mods on my list. I do not get crashes loading this one mod at all. One thing I have noticed is that the game itself will CTD more often if you do not update your video drivers to the latest version. For NVIDIA that would be the latest non-DHC Game Ready driver.

The other possible reason for the CTD is that you need to clear the cache and delete the Temp folder when a mod updates (it is definitely a game glitch). Out of habit I have been activating all the mods after spawning into the Pure Grid map (loads faster) and then deactivating them before I exit the game entirely.

 

Hello, idk if this is a bug,

In the front license plate you can only select the EU license plate
As shown here:

But in the rear license plate you can choose between a normal license plate and the EU version
As shown here:


All I ask is:
could you please add support for the normal license plate in the front of the vehicle?

That's a EUDM bumper
you can choose USDM bumper in the bumper selector
and there's a normal license plate waiting for you to choose

yeah true, like if you did a bumper swap for looks but its still in the US or something
Luckily where I live we don't have front plates so i can do it
