Would it be technically possible to add an option in the settings to (visually) disable vehicle triggers? I don't ever use them and they often pop up even when my cursor isn't over them which I find annoying.
The AI police cars don't chase me through the information center in Utah, instead they crash into the walls. Is the new information center not supported with AI paths yet?
That is just wrong, imo. It is more likely that they know about them, but they know there is about 200 other things that can affect priority of that single graphical issue, so there is no point rushing to fix that one bug when there can be lot of other planned work which then gets thing fixed or changed anyways. If they reply every single thing and rush to finetune every tiniest imperfection, game will never progress anywhere, so instead bigger plan is created and more of little things are then sorted at one go. Of course it can be frustrating to have deal with no replies or not seeing changes, but what devs have, around 5 developers that do post here regularly? So part where you mention they don't know what to do with it or that they don't give a shit is not quite right, that is quite far from reality, where it is more like they have to manage with little time and lot of tasks.
I'm pretty sure this has been mentioned, but a couple of hotfixes have come and gone with this issue. The tachometer UI app does not update the range of RPMs when switching vehicles. You can see that it doesn't update when switching vehicles, only when pressing F5
I am off topic but I was going to ask if maybe the BeamNG team can make it where the AI traffic can react to the police lights. As of right now they react to Sirens but not to lights. And since were on this topic the AI traffic don't move out of the way of Sirens on the highway in the West Coast map, all they do is move a little bit closer to the other lane not giving much room to pass. Guys can you please fix old world editor crashing game? It instantly crashes, but that editor has options which new one doesnt, plase fix it so we can use it without crashing atleast. Thanks.
For me, every time i turn on dynamic reflections it turns off when i restart the game. Tested in safemode.
Next update will remove old editor completely, so as Agent_Y mentioned in his reply they are probably not going to put any work on old editor, it has been probably removed from their development version already. After Fifth Minor Update (0.23.5) Game is crashing with this error I also performed Deep clear cache and works but for hours.
It seems that the last hotfix made it so the AI doesn't use reverse anymore, it just stays in place with handbrake on forever instead of reversing.
seems that the track builder is not working correctly at times, one of the tabs doesn't load at all, sometimes the builder itself won't load in from freeroam. Could be a mod interference or other. Is it an issue from this update or older?
