Hi Guys! I was hoping one of you who is a mac user might have a version of drive that was already ported? Every time i try to install it using WineBottler i get an error message that says: Executible not found: BeamNG.drive.x86.exe. Thanks for any help!

Cool! So it's safe to assume Linux will come, too?

Actually he got it the wrong way around. Mac OS isnt being worked on *yet*, Linux is. And its actually Torque3d being ported rather than BeamNG itself. Once Torque3d for linux is complete, BeamNG can utilise that, only then will work begin on Torque3d for Mac (and then BeamNG).

Seeing as Linux is being worked on first you could always bootcamp your Mac and play slightly sooner.

Or you could fork out ~$90 for the DirectX DLC.

If you don't mind spending an extra 40 bucks or so buying Crossover you can start playing it right now. They also give you a free trial of the program so you can see if it can run good on your machine.

Why not port it yourself or run it on an emulator. If you had a REAL computer you could play it. You are missing out, while everyone is having fun smashing cars and whatnot, you're there watching people play it, slowly regretting buying your MAC as you die inside.

Mac isnt an acronym so shouldnt be capitalised unless you were intending to imply you shouting it.
As for porting it himself. You need the full source code for the game and a fair bit of software development knowledge. Aka, he can't.
