Car is totally invisible during replays??

    Just spent about 2 hours creating an awesome police chase scene across the East Coast USA map. I used no modded cars, and have not messed with the map at all. I don't know what's going on with my replays. I can only see a single car that I spawned in.

    Is there any fix?? Please help.

    2 hours is probably way too long for the replay system to handle, it's more like for many segments that are a few minutes long each, that could be the reason.

    I meant I spent two hours collectively setting everything up, working out kinks with ScriptAI, etc. The maximum replay length was only about a minute and a half.

    Oh, well that's some dedication then, I didn't think this would need so much preparation. I have no idea what's the issue then.

    I'm playing around with it again, and I think I might have figured it out. I had to re-spawn in all the other AI cars for it to show up. Also, thank you for the compliment.

    Yes! This is a bug that I notice as well! Beamng Devs? will this be fixed? In a replay: the only car that shows up is the player's original car, not the other ones you used during that scene. They're "gone". This problem only happens once you close the game and then open the replay after a restart of beamng. The only way to counteract this is to remember which cars were in the scene and spawn them on the map before opening the replay. Then all cars will appear. Well.. only those that you remembered were in the scene and you pre-spawned before clicking on a replay file.

    Yes I have been running into this issue as well. And as you said, it did help to add in all the cars used, it doesn't matter what variants of the cars you add in, it will make it the same as in the replay when you load the replay file. But would be great if all this was not needed.

    Well! We can only hope that they'll see this post and resolve the issue. Can be very tricky with lots of cars.

    Could you please reproduce the issue and immediately send a support ID?

    Also, please ensure you haven't prevented replay from handling the transparency of cars: this option should be checked: Options > Other > Replay > Enable full vehicle transparency playback).

    Yes, the option was checked.

    The Support ID was created: 107923

    With the new 0.4 update, as of today, nothing works anymore. Unfortunately, things got worse. way worse!
    With all mods disabled, I recorded (Script AI) 3 different cars in a scene. Following problems appeared:
    1. If I recorded Car A and then Record Car B, Car A won't drive in its Script AI replay.
    If I record Car C and then hit replay fort all 3 cars, Car A drives but car B and C won't replay their route.

    2. If I wanna record it (beamng scene wise), and then open the replay: things look like this
    Car A is visible as a digital abstract piece of art, and Car B and C are gone.

    I am not sure what has happened here, but I would call it a Fatal 404 Error in regards of the scrip AI / beamng scene record. :(

    How many cars do you use each scene? I used only 9 total. Do you think it could be something with the number of cars?

    No as far as I know this has nothing to do with the numbers. I already used 80 cars in one scene and that worked (well .."worked", it lagges as hell but they didn't look like this). It has got something to do with the update which hopefully will be fixed soon.

    Your PC must be a behemoth, haha. Sometimes I struggle with 15 cars on a 2070 Super (laptop card).

    We are aware of some AI-Script issues, and we're working on a potential fix (no ETA available for that).

    Now, as for vehicles being invisible:
    At first sight I cannot see anything wrong, other than the presence of mods which can potentially break things.
    Can you please:
    - Try to reproduce the invisibility issue again with all mods disabled, preferably in Safe Mode.
    - If it still happens like that, then switch to one of the invisible cars, and try to hit Ctrl Numpad+ and Ctrl Numpad- key combinations (those key combos normally modify the vehicle transparency). Do the invisible cars become visible then?

    We´ve identified a couple of issues affecting replays. In some cases, it could prevent vehicles from spawning. In others, it could prevent the replay from loading at all. A fix will arrive on the next game update :)
