Please provide more data in order for us to help you! Are you in safe mode? Do you have mods installed? And maybe even more importantly, what are your system specs? Graphics card, CPU etc.
this might be a thing with this update, idk, but 2 of my computers are getting this error, one PC the issue started with this update and the other got it today and I cannot play the game whatsoever I made a thread about it https://www.beamng.com/threads/failed-to-create-user-directory.80585/#post-1344963
Be sure to - Deep clear cache - Very the gamefiles using STEAM - deep clear cache a second time - restart the computer
The Moonhawk now has dechromed door handles, side door trim, headlight bezels (on the facelifted variant), side turn signals, and bumpers, unless the default Empty and Powerglow paintjobs are chosen. It would be nice if these were options, as these configurations look rather off. Usually cars of this era would have these parts chromed, at least from the factory. The Grand Marshal Empty paintjob now features chrome side trim, along the bumpers, doors, etc. This affects the V8 Sport trim, which also looks rather off-putting. In the preview, it features no chrome trim, but chromed grille. I assume the preview screenshot is how they should look.
That the thing I did all that and it still didnt work and i cryed --- Post updated --- yes I have mod install yes i tryed safe mode twice and my cpu and gpu is 5x 580 and ryzen 5 5900x
I've noticed that a lot of cars have gained licence plates in their images in the Vehicles Menu, which is a little weird. The main issue is that they all say "SUPR PIG"!! All good on a D-series, doesn't quite suit a Miramar
Mmm I see. Hardware should not be the issue, however it might be worth checking your GPU driver is up to date (IDK if it can cause this, but it can't do any harm). what maps exactly don't work? Did they work before the update, or are you new to the game? (if so, welcome!) Assuming you cleared cache and verified integrity, (as @Turbo49> said), and assuming Safe mode didn't work, I'd open my documents/beamng/maps and make sure you don't have any accidental map edits you've committed. If all else fails- it might be a good idea to re-install the game. And one last thing that just crossed my mind: you don't happen to be trying the new Vulcan system, right?
LeGran spoiler's center post peels off the tailgate and has a propensity to jiggle, also do check the model and shading for the front windows as they look weird
Big problem since the last udapte... As you can see, big texture problem.. (Yes in safe mode, having clered cache) Other vehicules don't have texture problems with bodywork, just white tires too. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the problem persits. I lost 99% of my mods, only basic stuff remais that are not involved, obviously it bothers me, but what bothers me the most is not even being able to play properly due to of its textures.. If you have a solution, I'm interested..
One issue with AI pathing I've found consistently in the past couple versions - Bots really love this corner at the exit of "Partenze" of the Italy's Aeroport. Quite a few times when a bot tries to drive out - he clips the corner and stands there doing nothing. I believe this might be tied to some a bit misplaced bot waypoint? Also - they do stop at the "Stop" sign. One issue is that this sign is right after the walkway, and they stop right on it Shouldn't this "Stop" sign be pointing the other way, like, so the cars driving this one-way-road could see it?
Don't think anyone's mentioned this recently, but all vivaces and togracs are still in performance class 0
Tested in safe mode, cleared cache, apologies if this has already been reported/there's a solution. I don't see it on the Known Issues page nor in any patch notes, but it might just be me experiencing this. Torquecurve doesn't like to stay hidden in cockpit after change of vehicle/map. Streamable for reference:
