the auto moderation system on this site is actually trash

    So, first of all, as it clearly states, they removed my thread for "suspicious links" when I was the one asking if said link was safe? Also, if I remember correctly, it wasn't even clickable, basically meaning that if you clicked it, nothing would happen. You can tell that it was an automatic moderation system because:

    -The thread was deleted at 4:18 AM (not many mods would be awake at that time to dig up my forum)
    -It was deleted for "posting suspicious links" despite the thread tile evidently saying that I was asking if it was safe
    -I was unable to get onto the profile of the person who moderated my forum, meaning that it was 100% a bot

    Anyone able to assist in this situation? Kind of a BS takedown

    I don't think you're normally able to.

    Mods probably just don't want people giving publicity to that kind of site, or something like that.

    This site doesn't have an auto moderation system.

    Also there's no profile linked when a thread/post is removed.

    What it DOES have is a manual, but very bad, moderation system. (Please don't kill my family for saying this.)

    This is not a bot, the website doesn't have any auto-moderation other than holding posts of new users for manual approval. Also pretty sure complaining about stuff like this is against the rules too, so don't be surprised if this thread gets deleted as well.

    if there is no auto moderation system on this site then the mods on this site are probably 12 year olds to be honest

    Now that I think of it- the link wasn't even unsafe lol. It was just ripoff mods that I was asking if they were safe to download and what was up with the site. Only adds to how weird the takedown was.

    Things that are not allowed on our forums:

    - Posting links to suspicious websites (regardless under which sauce they're served, including posting screenshots of such links after you received a clear warning for it the first time around)
    - Creating threads about moderation actions, if you want to appeal, you can always do so here: https://support.beamng.com
    - Creating alternative accounts to bypass your original reprimands
