Experimental KissMP - new multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive

That was on KissMP servers. Tried BeamMP long ago, dismissed immediately due to very poor performance compared to KissMP.

In the end, had to ask a friend who rarely if ever plays BeamNG. Thankfully, it works.

 

Hm, weird, I never run into people like that.

 

I think you're just going to get people like that sometimes. Unfortunately the reputation BeamNG has for being nothing more than a novelty crash game, thanks to crappy gaming channels attracts kids who ruin things for others in an unmoderated online setting. This isn't a bad reflection on the mod itself, but rather bad human behaviour.

 

just a quick question, can anyone confirm if kissmp works fine with the 0.23 release?

 

For me, it is absolutely unusable. KissMP UI disappears and reappears as it pleases, when approaching other players it disappears completely and the game starts to lag, I believe I only saw other players a few times since the update. Used to work great on 0.22...

 

Same here. It's spotty at times, but at one point I had to force close the game.

 

by the time i got a reply i ended up trying it myself.
and just to further document this, i also had the same issue.
kissmp ui was only showing when i was further then 450ish meters from anyone, as soon as i got within that range every kissmp ui would disappear.
i havent encountered lag, but not to say kissmp is unplayable right now.

 

For me, it seems completely impossible to see other human players. They are simply not there.

 

New version of the game, it's not unheard of for third-party mods to need tweaking afterwards. Sit tight.

 

i ran the newest version of kissmp (0.4.5) and is something suppose to show up here?

 

i found the issue works perfectly now thanks

 

trying to make private server, but it's crashing the game, i don't have any mods enabled in that menu

and now i can't make servers, because of this crash

 

It's still crashing my game, and i getting bridge freezing on this text

(this problem can be found also on server)

 

New version leads to no response from the game.

 

Another error message when i trying to create server in game, this time it's little bit different

 

i have a issue with the main ui thing. i cant minimize it and i somehow got it stuck with the chat ui and i dont want it together because i cant see anything.
